i like my room, wrc team colors, metalic blue walls with yellow trim and molding:grin: . also, i got a top mount intercooler on the shelf around my room as well as a pretty red and black spyder manifold. thats just whatyou notice at first. my bed is on jack stands, there are more ea82 parts in here than in the rx, and there are more models of imprezas than at the suby dealer. on top of all that, i have a poster or lance armstrong that is all metalic looking, oohhh, what now yo!! hey will, i like the tail lights on the shelf, nice touch.

when you tall me that its in good mechanical condition and instead, its unsafe to even drive around the block, i think there will be issues. the shifter was so so sloppy that i couldnt even get it into third, and he says thats my fault?!? i dont know what cars he's been driving around, but ive never seen a mid 80's suby that was so sloppy that it felt like it was falling apart. and for the record, i can drive a stick and have been doing so for years.

we will see how things got when we all get together. i should be there this afternoon.

i think that issue is behind me now. now i just need to get up there and talk it over with paul and set up what we are going to do. cant wait, i should probably get to bed then.

i still think i need a miracle to be able to get it. but if i can get tags on it and a battery, ill be able to get it home. the hard part will be coming up with the green for it. unemployment is a pain. i might still be able to pull a few strings before tomarrow though. if anyone would like to make a donation on the other hand, i would be greatful and be happy to return the favor as soon as i can.... i hope to see you all tomarrow, which if i do, means that i found a way to get the brat. my friend doesnt want to go up there if i cant get the brat and im not sure if id be willing to take the impreza on a long trip right now. hope to see you all tomarrow peace tim

i know that you are all trustwrothy, its my mom thats paranoid.... i did want to meet up with you at lonestar. im pretty sure that if i get cought with the wrong tags on the brat, i would be in deep, maryland does have temp tag, but i have to havet he title and insurance on the vehical first. but if there is insurance on it already, then i might be able to get away with it. if any one would like to help me with getting the brat home, id be greatful., we could have a convoy to my place and then a huge cook out when we get here. i know its a long shot, but it might be worth a try, i know people ha ve work on monday and probably dont want to drive to maryland on a sunday, or saterday night, when ever it is that i have to roll out. once again, i am still not sure how things will turn out. on a side note, does anyone know how to replace the window regulator in a 1990 toyota camry? i might end up doing that on my friend's car while im there. peace tim

gc8 is the vin code that tells you that yo are dealing with a 4 door impreza wrx made before 2001. basicallt, the fourdoor wrx from japan that came out before the bug eye. the two door would be a gm8. in the states, we got the 2.5rs, which would be the gc6 or the gm6. or something like that

as long a s i dont get pulled over or arrested, i should be set. if i make it, i quess ill need like a bill or sale or something like that to get it home without gettting in trouble.

ill try to make it there. i hope to have a brat by then. i dont really want to drive the impreza out that far, it needs a major tune up.

im pretty sure that you can still get at walmart, but there ar cup holders that slip in the door between the glass and door card, holds a drink easy and usually have a small pocket on the side for stuff. i used to have abunch from my mom's old car, havent a clue where they went though. good luck in you search, if i can find some, ill take a pic for you.

is the brat registered and tagged? or would it need tags if i some how get the money for it?

im still not too sure if ill be able to make it outthere. my mom doesnt want to help me in my persuit of the brat nd might not let me go up there. im 21 years old and she acts like im 12. well, except for the factthat i have to buy my own toys.

i am going to try to make it up there. i wonder, you think it would possible to tow a brat with an impreza with stiffer springs and a trans cooler? its also been modded slightly, more torque than stock. i dont know how safe it would be to tow with a sport coupe type car, but i could always try, right? anyone from maryland trying to go?

i hope to be able to make it up there this weekend. i still want the brat and a few parts. more than you could imagine.. the real question though, why am i still awake? its only 3:12 am. ZzZzZzZz
