  1. Dealer called me back and stated there is a bad ground wire from TCM. My question is where is this at???
  2. Sorry I re-did the handshake and it was a 76. All the other code was done by the obd2 scanner at autozone. And i have replace the ecm. It worked fine for a few days and back to the same drama
  3. I didn't have to sign anything... This exactly how it was when i went to dealer. 1.) 50 to diagnois 2.) Called me back two day later and said it will cost me 300.00 to diagnois the problem. I ask him what is wrong. He stated that there is a wire problem between Trans harness to resistor. 3.) They came back and said i have no resistance in the 2-4 brake duty. So they asked for the line pressure and 2-4 brake duty from my original trans. Which both is still good. 3.4 ohms 4.) I notice they had pulled my trans pan off and left the my subaru outside with no trans pan on. His face just dropped when i said my trans could be damage by " FOD " So there was no agreement said or sign. If they are still trying to charge me. You stated I should speak to the General manager of that place. And then contact BBB.
  4. I have a major bone to pick guys. I replaced my ECM on my previous ATF Light Flashing and it recently came back.. I got tired of trying to fix it, So i took it back to the SUBARU DEALER. My question is they charged me 300.00 to diagnois the problem but could not find the problem.They wanted me to bring them the LINE PRESSURE, AND 2-4 BRAKE DUTY SOLENOID FROM MY OLD TRANSMISSION. Which both was between 2-4 ohms By law and RULE and REGULATION if they can't find out what wrong with it. I SHOULD NoT BE CHARGE FOR THAT LABOR????? Even if it's been in there for about a week now. .

  6. even with a OL that doesn't mean that the the line is broken does it ??? My question is checking for resistance with power off there shouldn't be an kind of resistance right??
  7. So far Resistance for this line is OL. torque control cut signal circuit low input. 1.) Switch on unplug Connector B135, Terminal 4 2.) B135, Terminal 4, Checking Volt = -.01 3.) B135, Terminal 4 resistance, Unplug TCM Connector. Measuring Resistance B135 #4 Terminal Chasiss Ground = "O.L" Am I to run a whole new line if it is " OL " ???? Result on Manual: states, Check connection and ground, and connector. 1.) TCM and ECU Connector: Clean, and no damage or loose connector I am LOST ON WHAT TO CHECK WHEN I FIDDLE WITH CONNECTION, WIRE, CONNECTOR. AND IT IS NORMAL.
  8. thx.. Alot. I will trace that wire down. Know is there away if i can check ohms reading for internal solenoids with out pulling the transmission pan.???

  10. well i pulled a 8 long pulse 7 fast on the handshake. And went to autozone and read the code came back with 7 faults. Theses are the same exact code before I bought my friends 89,000 miles trans. Traced back for the other two ground wire that was pic #12 There is none. My question is how do I proceed if it is electrical input. I bought the Connector cleaner and sprayed down every single connection in the engine bay. No loose or bad connection. Need big help P1133- Front oxygen Sensor (AF) Heater circuit high input P1116- torque control cut signal circuit low input P0748- pressure Duty A P1722- Trans Diagnosis input signal high input P1510-Idle Air control Solenoid Signal 1 circuit Low P1516- Idle air Solenoid Signal 4 circuit low P1705-2-4 brake pressure solenoid Valve (Solenoid D) Circuit
  11. With Black Connector B82 #5 ground and unplug just hanging and grd to frame. Or is this how I clear the code ???????? Then 1.) Do I now then start the handshake and read the code.
  12. i found the the handshake procedure. No don't have a #14 fuse to unplug to clear the memory on the TCM. I have 2000 impreza.

  14. My 00 impreza, has a ATF OIL FLASHING NON-STOP. I had a bad ATF Sensor changed that and it came back on after 4 mths. My pervious transmission was doing the same thing and stopped shifting. at 40 mph I was at 5000-5500 RPM. So i bought a new transmission that was running fine in my friends impreza and Still have the ATF OIL FLASHING. Didn't do that on my friends impreza. I am totally stuck and clue less now. I am begin to think could it be a bad TCM. Who ever had this problem please share what was replace or tweak, ect Wire shorts and where most common BEFORE I HAD SWAPPED THE NEW TRANSMISSION I MICROSCOPED EVERY SINGLE WIRE AND CONNECTOR FOR BAD CORROSION, LOOSE WIRE, NOTHING IS FINE.
  15. Did you ever get the kick down proplem fixed. I am have the same problem with my 2000 impreza. I could not find any reason that would cause it.

  16. What year and model will any subaru trans and front diff fit on my 2000 impreza rs 2.5??? Found a 98 subaru outback trans and front diff will that fit my car.. Also what would I need if I what to swap that auto to a manual?? Any advise.
  17. All u-joints inspected and is good. So I jacked up the whole car and put it in drive to 20 mph. Notice that passenger wheel does not spin. Even giving it a little spin she doesn't spin it's not lock up you can rotate her fine. I am not sure if it is my Transmission or front diff going bad. At 20 mph looking at the cluster gauge it just jump right up to 30 mph at the same acceleration. Any suggestion to this fix??
  18. No. i don't punch her at the light normal driving. It did start to happen when i was went on a 1.5 hr drive going 90 mph. Could that be the problem. How many u joint do i have and will still problem ruin any part?
  19. guys I add 80 90 to the diff on the passenger side but i'm still getting that clunking noise. Checked the center bearing and everything is still good. I need some serious help.
  20. All these symptom happened at the same. Just found out that I have a diff dip stick on the passenger side. It was also low.. wow. Now what kind of fluid would I put in to the diff on the passenger side??? Any thing in particular?? 80 90 gear oil .
  21. Hey guys, My impreza rs 2.5 did some crazy thing tonight. I was on my way home going about 80 mph, and notice a clunking noise right under the car in middle. It does this every time at a green light going about 10 mph. Drives fine after that. This sudden jerk kind of fells like something wrong with my trans or diff. Not sure what it is. Also the ATF Oil Light is flashing constantly. So I add some More ATF light goes away. When i got home turned the car off and started it again the Freaking ATF light came back on. I don't know if Trans-X will fix this. NOT TO SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS??? HELP ME FELLOW SUBIE FRIENDS?? I have replace the duty c 6 months ago AND FLUID.
  22. My impreza rs 2.5 Auto, Surges, and studdering when accelerating. It's been hard trying to pass people up. I notice that when this happen the engine is growling when I am trying to pass people up. I would litterly have to lay off the pedal. It comes and go. I have did a full tune up on my vechile three day ago. NEW COIL, WIRES, PLUGS, FUEL FILTER, PCV VALVE, AIR FILTER, IACV, AND ALL FLUID . AND STILL.. Pulling a code of P1510, P1512, P1514, P1516 = All Idle Air control Valve circuit. throttle body has been cleaned and replaced gasket. Just swapped that part out with my brother and reset the computer and this problem still occurs. Any Ideas ???????
