I guess I can cut and splice in the LED driver after the connection in the roof. As for the ground that might be a little tricky. And for the sunroof I'm sitting here looking at the pdf and I just noticed my switch it has express open and vent options but I think the old school switches did not have express open did they? When I have the courage to take the switch out of the headliner I will take a look at the backside but hmm not too sure now. Also feeling around it seems like the area under the visor is hallow.

i found what might be a wire diagram for the ASC sunroof but I'd have to see with the Subaru one.. if need be I will move the switch over under the visor since I don't open the sunroof all that much anyways. I mean the switch must be basic.. but has a control to allow it to stay open when the car is off or close when the car is turned off. I want to guess with the map lights you have 12V coming in splitting off to each maplight right?

yeah I know it's a festoon that part I knew about but is the bulb angled or how does it sit in the fixture?

That outback rear cargo light does it still use that tiny twist bulb or a festoon? and the map lights are the bulbs at an angle? No one has any good ebay shots of the rear of it I take it the lights are angled. just wondering before I spend $30 on one from an 02 wrx.. funny how they all look the same up until around 2005

that might help

Quick question.. my car did not have maplights but one of whatever 3 owners wanted a aftermarket sunroof installed (ASC) anyways the switch and all would be in the way of the maplight but question is if I get to the area were the maplight would be would i find the connections to one or would it be empty? Oh and here is the switch for the sunroof.. I wonder if it's possible to move it a little more out of the way..

man lol you got me wanting maplights but I'm going to be putting in some very bright leds.. just a few questions.. how did you get the headliner down to wire to the center dome light? and Do you think it's possible I can move that sunroof switch? lol i doubt it will work with the subaru switch.

Yeah I think I'm going to buy it this week I was driving down the driveway just coasting and all of a sudden the headlights went off but since i was still in gear my idle did not go funky.. I'm looking forward to taking it out and opening it up.. I wonder if the voltage regulators are going? and is this your twin?

I gotta check again.. It happened again when I was at the bank I was about to park to count my money and then I noticed the idle got weird then my headlights would go funny if I turn the air to 0 to 4.. something to suck up a lot of power when you turn it on.. so instead of counting I just went to the ATM and shut the car off for about 3 min. Went to leave and it's like nothing happened. Man i sure which I could see the voltage when it goes nuts like that.

Question I was driving today and this morning I noticed my rear tires sounded kinda funny.. like when changing lanes (people must of thought I was nuts) if you kinda move quickly over to the right lane the left rear tire sounds kinda loud but not the right rear. it's hard to describe the sound but it's noticeable, I will say I haven't checked the air pressure in them since I had them mounted back in Nov.

a low battery can do many funny things.. a low battery made my buzzer sound funny in my car

yes it is

Not sure.. the large button allows the sunroof to stay open with the car off or close when I turn off the car. I never understood the placement of it as well.. Not sure if it works with the factory controls the sunroof is ASC.
