Well I just ordered the PCV plastic part and the fat hose that goes from the motor to it but not the two other hoses.. I hope I will be able to get the piece that snapped off from inside it. My car idles fine just my gas mileage has gone down the tubes From a full tank to a half a tank I only was able to get about 96 miles.. I I know it was snowing for those few days but still that's like what under 16 MPG right? This is my first order from subaruparts.com so i don't know if they hold the whole order up for one part that's not in stock or what.

I know the newer models have replacement module stalks but I got curious because looking on rockauto they have the whole assembly (don't need it) and looking up close they have the turn dial for the front and Intermittent for the rear.. the front is not big deal but it would be nice for the rear instead of having to keep switching by hand.. Has anyone ever tried switching them out?

crap I ordered another donut gasket from rockauto (it was cheap) it's a auto parts international one but it's way smaller then the dealer one I have in my closet it can't be right for the first cat to the center pipe? i've got a huge exhaust leak now which is getting annoying. As soon as I fish the dealer gasket out of the closet I will put up the picture and I take it back it's the 2nd cat that's starting to rust out and I'm going to guess because of it not flexing.. at least it's not as critical as the front having said that the concave part of the gasket faces the catalytic converter right? looong time ago when I picked up the parts from the guy (2.5 GT wagon 1999) everything fit OK but the donut gasket (P# 44011AC000) never made a good seal at all and you could see the gasket turning around in circles with the exhaust flow. I was wondering did anything with the piping change? Because it all looked the same.

only took about 15-20 min to put the cable back in.. I wish I could have a nice light feeling cable like that for the life if the cable. I think my trying to get it in gear on the highway in 4th it feels a little funny it takes more effort to take it out of gear then pushing it in. tranny fluid for sure is going to need to be changed

yeah too bad I don't have any bolts in the car but it was hell trying to get into 3rd it's really hard when you have a worn bushing and when it finally goes in i gotta blip the throttle again. But when mine first popped I was parked forward in a parking spot about 50 miles from home.. I would of driven it home but it was rush house and I would have to head back over the GWB and bronx it would of been way too many starts and stops for me... But I never forget the sound when it did pop.. but the funny thing is it never did feel like it was binding when it did let go. I also learned something don't try to start in reverse because I stalled and I had to push myself forward a little to get myself out of reverse.

but I would have to worry about the bolt falling out again and again because the other end is pressed closed (maybe not right term) but it happened right as soon as i got off the exit from my job this morning I was like aww crap not this again. but it did not have the feel of when a cable snaps (feeling tight and loud snap) I got out looked under the hood and it was fine.. then I went up to look and that's when I saw it sheered right off.

no flush yet that should of been done in the fall but I kept getting people having me to look at what's wrong with their cars and I did not have time enough for my own.. I know I've had the motor relay stuck before which causes the pump to run while the car is off.. I never got the replacement relay for that.. I think the low temps have some kind of effect. -

I cleared them last night but I did not bother to check which codes came up again. -

No takers? -
you use break caliper grease by permatex.. also the whole reason to put grease on them is to help the caliper slide.. you may or may not know only one part slide and one part is in light contact with the rotor so when you step on the brakes the bracket slides on the caliper pin to take up slack.. When you have a stuck pin like I did you will smell your brakes....
