  1. pictures? Also I switched to ceramic pads because the composite pads leaves a film that makes it feel like warp rotors.. I've got about 30K on my rotors and pads and no more warped feeling.
  2. maybe one of you can tell me what code I have? it seems like I have 3 code which is all it can store.. but I'm confused if it's 51, 23, 21, 42 or 22 lol So I did a video one of the flashes looked like a 42 but maybe another set of eyes would help.
  3. Yeah make sure you do that.. I had a huge issue with my left rear which required lots of heat with PB sprayed on a hot surface plus hammering the caliper bolt then finally I was able to get it out and lube it up.
  4. yeah I just noticed that but then I just noticed they make replacement bolt I don't need the sliding one.
  5. not really unless you are looking to replace brake fluid but pressing the caliper piston back in will require you to take the brake fluid cap off and if you topped it off you will need to take some out as pressing the piston back in will cause the fluid level to rise. Remember brake fluid will take off paint. Speaking of calipers.. does anyone make replacement screws for the caliper.. you know the part that keeps the whole caliper from flipping upwards? I have a feeling if I can't find it I'm going to need to just buy a whole new caliper. Ok forget that seems like they do make replacement bolts! every bump I can hear my bracket.. Not clue how the bolt fell out at all..
  6. I don't feel so bad they had some issues trying to locate it as well.
  7. I was driving in about 7 inches of snow in a parking lot but when I noticed the light was on when I went to run out I was parked on ice but it was not smooth ice but like bumpy. I can't really check because we are getting snow yet again I just hate yellow warning lights on my dash. But do I really have the plugs under my dash to check?
  8. Mine snapped like 4 weeks ago I have yet to replace it yet.. I have not checked out the whole thread yet but do they have to order this part? I doubt it will effect gas mileage? because right now I got some pretty crappy mileage..
  9. For awhile when it was cold out my ABS light would sometime come on but upon the next starting of the car or turning the car off while driving then back on (5 MT) the ABS light would go off.. For this past Sunday the light is on solid now and start cycles have no effect.. NOW for the 1995 Legacy how do I pull the code for the ABS? Because I looked at the later model years about some plug under the dash with two tapped wires and my car does not have that at all.. I'd like to find out what this code is I've never seen a car that would bring up the ABS light on the dash but would clear it's self if you just restart the car.. Loose wire maybe?
  10. damn everyone has that bracket but me.. all the other subaurs I had had it but I'm thinking the last person who owned the car removed it when they changed the alternator thinking it' was a wasted piece of metal?
  11. hey I found out where that massive amount of water came in from.. the A/C evaporator line I'm not sure if it had a rubber seal around it or not (I can't remember) but that's where it all came in at. part 2
  12. What happen is it works fine it's a tad louder then the stock pump which means I can hear it a little.. I got on the highway and did some WOT pulls and no starving for fuel. also the fuel strainer on the new one is not as curved as the other so when I went to place it in the tank I had to do a little moving... interesting to see how little change you have from a half a tank to a full tank Also when trying to release fuel pressure I think I had the car as low as an idle.. nipper might of remembered when we went off road that day and I got stuck on the trail with the wet ECU it was idling a little under the 2nd hash mark which I think is 500 rpm? I'm going to be uploading the video in a few here.
  13. haha I guess you're right.. I just ran into a snag.. for some reason the positive post on the new pump is smaller and fits the stock screw nut but the Neg post is larger and wont fit the negative cable. I don't think I have a wire nut for that here in my spare parts bin but I went out and advance auto had a M5 nut that fit just right. So the pump is in now
  14. ugh went to get the package this morning and I almost thought they lost that.. i don't get why they never left it because it was no need to sign for..\ Anyways I'm going to let the pressure bleed off (it's snowing here) and eat some food and do the job and bring my camcorder
  15. This is worn.. tore the rotor up pretty good.. replaced all rotors and changed to ceramic pads and I love it! no more pad deposits left on the rotor and getting that shaking feel when braking.
  16. timing belt guard? You mean the cover? all mine snapped the plastic on mine so my passenger side cover is missing and so on. but wow not bad.. I picked up mine at 195,065 and I now have 235K on it almost 3 years later I've really only done minor stuff to it like water pump new radiator and timing belt and new struts.
  17. wow these idiots say they tried to delivery at 2:08 pm but no one was home.. I've been home since 8 AM this morning and no one ever knocked.. I don't give a damn if it says come tomorrow but I'm going over tonight before they close to see if I can try and get my two packages that seemed to be someone who has no brain to try KNOCKING and not just throwing out pink slips.. how in the hell does the post office keep running?!?!? and the best thing of all my pink slip was for my other package and not the express one. :Flame:zzz
  18. I already got UEL headers and mine is a dual port. at 100 MPH I think my car is around 4300.. the manual is geared higher then the auto I know that. plus I've got two speeding tickets (under 100) and don't need anymore.. I was happy enough my car ins went down when I turned 26
  19. it's impossible to knock the strainer off the stock one has one of those clips with the fingers on them (I forget the name) it reminds me of a pressure plate of a clutch. Anyways looks like the bosh one is held in by a nut.. I dunno I'm still waiting here.
  20. I wonder why most of the replacement pumps have a threaded screw mount for the connection when the stock had a thru hole mount with a square nut. I'd have to bend my wires upwards so I can at least slide the protective cover over the + wire.
