1. That part that I think goes to the heater core, the one with the smaller diameter hose on it.. does that part come off the pipe? It's got a screw with a 6-pt head but I was unable to get it to come off at all.
2. I took the crossover water pipe off to get to the gaskets, I'm 99% sure it's the same as the EJ25 I will change the coolant sensor but just leave the gauge sender.. it's going to have a color change..
3. Since the OP is from Greenwich where I'm from lol I have to laugh.. the Greenwich Hospital here uses impreza's wagons around town to drop and run errands around town.. I bet that miffs him.
4. I checked all in my storage and I don't have it.. I guess I must of thrown it out
5. #2 gave me issues on my '95 Outback.. it was a WTF moment.. I ended up finding the lock timer by pounding on the dash on that model.. never knew what the issue was but swapping out the door lock timer did the trick.
6. I'm going to use the liquid version, for the time being I will just temp mount the gauge on the side of the steering column, I plan on doing a dash gauge pod.
7.

Will be doing this color http://www.prismaticpowders.com/colors/E-9141B/
8. I've had my terminals sitting on my desk for almost two years now so I'm tired of looking at them lol plus I think I will get a hydraulic crimper tomorrow so that's why I asked.
9. Yeah the marine terminals are going to be better then the wire nest I had before, I'm going to order 20' of 4 gauge copper wielding wire.. speaking of that everyone says redoing the ground makes the car feel smoother.. Is that really true? My car never felt smoother after I lapped all the valves and checked the clearance.
10. I had been planning for a long time to switch my battery terminals over to marine terminals because of some accessories I will be adding later on and at the same time I was going to buy new 4 gauge wire to replace the aged wire on the car, anyways on the starter end you have that little push connection I assume it merges at some point to the (+) cable? Another thing is the stud for the 12V to the starter it should fit a 3/8" lug right? I don't have a starter in front of me but it seems like it will.
11. Funny those hoses never given me problems on any one of my cars.
12. Ha, tried to take the PCV hose off the EJ22 I'm about to put in.. I figured nice 46F warm day.. well I got it off the block end and it snapped at the PCV end.. DOH! From what I hear it has to be emission rated hose right?
13. Only reason I stopped and got somewhat stuck was because of a snow bank and cross traffic General arctic's winter tires
14. why? it would only be $88 to have all 4 flow tested and cleaned
15. I never saw a part number for the hose.. but I saw one for a 2000 outback.. with a dealer discount it was still almost $30 for the hose...
16. My oil pressure relocation kit came in today.. I think I might be sending in my injectors for a flow test and cleaning.. I told my friend since I have to power coat and wanting to clean up all this while stuff is off just to wait until Jan. I think it's worth getting the injectors flow tested now that I have 256,000 miles on them, no? At least one of them has a little crud on them but not blocking the nozzle
17. I remember this happened to me when I went off-roading with nipper and a few other members from here, never expected water to enter in from the AC drain line. At least I know for next time. Funny thing now that I say that, it's happened to me twice, once when the storm drain was clogged at my building, water got so high it entered in under the doors, I went to leave for work one morning (3 AM) and noticed the car stalled half way up the hill.. long story short I had puddles in all 4 areas of the car. I took the ECU and ABS modules out and fully dried them (3 days) and took the carpet out and steam cleaned and dried out the juke rug in the oven. After that all was well.
18. I'm talking about the hose from the PCV valve to the tee I had to remove it when it was about 20F and it just pretty much split into two pieces.. Now I do have another on another motor but I rather start with a new hose so I wont have to deal with this again. Anyone know the size?
19. That part in the middle that's for the defroster right? What are those 3 white pieces?
