  2. Ok i figured it might of come to this
  3. ok.. the only radio gear I have is for amatuer radio
  4. thanks for the tip of not counting the treads I have to ask would a tool like this help any? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002SRGFW/ref=s9_simz_gw_s0_p263_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1N2MB2WT0XZNPMX5X2TB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846 the boots are pretty much shot so I'd need to replace those
  5. Does anyone know what is needed to remove the inner tie rod? and how do you remove the ball joints?
  6. is a CB radio really needed? I caught a cold so my head is spinning like crazy now but I think I should be ok for next weekend. also what is your tow strap rated for? I brought one yesterday at advance auto it's 2" x 15" and it's rated for 3,333 Lb But now that I look at it I think I brought the wrong strap with the hook ends?
  7. I was going to replace the front and 2nd converter on my legacy wagon would I notice anything other then not having a leak from the 2nd cat anymore?
  8. I programmed the ranger station in the GPS not sure how long it takes to get to the place.. I'm on the border with port Chester so I'd say maybe it takes 2 1/2 hours?
  9. yeah by next week I should have my hella horns installed but I'm looking forward to this. So do we meet at the address above? I looked at the google street view and was a little confused.
  10. a hairline crack is enough to kill it.. I think it needs to be only tighten to 14 Ft. Lb if I saw right in the manual. Also make sure you don't have a rodent that likes to eat the wire like I did when I brought my car used I had that code but the cable was pretty much in half.
  11. On a long road trip where a station may be far I will fill up early but I tend to fill up near before it goes under empty.
  12. I'm waiting time for Natalie to get dirty. taken last night
  13. pattern is not going the wrong way and I should have pictures of it.. I have to find them. Well I can't find all my pictures but I took one of the projectors apart and what I highlighted in green I had to file down the cutoff as seen here. then from using alum flashing I made a new cutoff took about 5 times for me to cut a decent piece. the light is thrown to the right on the road and I've never been flashed I wish I could remember when I put the rest of the pictures at. found some more.. Fresh out of the box... I'm pretty sure this is after I put in a test shield..
  14. my JDM lights don't project a JDM light pattern I made a new cut-off shield for it. long story short it's just one solid piece of metal so I had to be creative. And the only thing that would hold it in place with the high heat of the bulb was JB Wield. I'm also using a relay.. stock wires are too thin to run
  15. I brought a MemoScan from ebay for around $64 or so it shows the code and tells you a description of what the code is so you wont have to search and has live data.
  16. Well from what I saw here no 3.900 diffs came with a LSD http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102113 and since I can't run anything else I'd need to swap the ring gear to the LSD I do have a FSM manual.
  17. I know the STI uses a mechanical unit but as far as I understand everything else uses a VLSD in the rear. my thing is trying to find a 3.90 rear diff to take the guts out.. I'm pretty sure the LSD used axle stubs right and the non LSD did not have them?
  18. Ok.. because I know I had a 03 forester XS with a rear LSD but no place on the diff did it say LSD.
  19. Is it safe to use this list here? http://wac.addr.com/auto/obs/lsd/lsd.html
