  1. I have one cover off on my TB cover (fell off someplace) so the passenger side cam is in the nude.. the reason why the cover came off was the screws for it just cracked the whole cover and I could not get the cam off to replace the cover.. when I pull the engine this winter I will get around to replacing it.
  2. I have the same problem!!!!! This just started happening.. and the fun part is I think I traced it down to where it's at.. I found it by random if you shut the glove box I can lock my doors sometimes if the doors are already locked and driving you can hear the doors sometimes trying to lock it's self again when it's already locked.. I thought it was the door too but something behind my glove box is shorting the power door locks which does not makes sense to me.
  3. THE EJ25 is a engine code for the 2.5L engine Duty C is a solenoid that controls transferring power to the rear by hydraulic fluid.
  4. I used costal gear oil because it seemed Advance auto never had any of the other higher brand I used to use.
  5. I still have the springs I just need new bolts because I snapped one of them in half.
  6. turns out it smaller I don't know how and I don't know if the part number changed over the years.. this exhaust comes from a 2.5GT model legacy wagon.. The last issue I have now is (maybe because I don't have spring bolts in right now.. can't find washers large enough) Is the center pipe to the muffler area with the gasket it's got a small leak. I might be able to work it out by giving a little slack but it's hopeful.
  7. I turned it around and it still leaks! do I need to sand more? I'm running out of time today
  8. I don't know I put the gasket in the center pipe like in the first picture so the tapered smaller end was in the pipe but the gasket just turns.. and drips a little moisture as well.
  9. I installed everything with the gasket part number 44011AC000 for my Legacy I start the car and I have a leak in that area and I saw the doughnut gasket just spinning around with the car idling.. I don't know how much tighter I can make the center pipe... Do they have something else you can use besides a doughnut gasket?
  10. the people who did my work on my car they wielded the spring bolt, bolt to the nut I would guess no way I can save it? If not can I just replace it with a normal bolt and nut?
  11. thanks so I will sand the inside so its smooth not sure how this exhaust is going to sound over my stock 95 I got a used bosal/subaru 2.5 gt muffler along with the center pipe
  12. I have a friend at work who has a 99 Subaru forester and he says his AirBag light will sometimes come on then go off (did not say how often) However he said he changed his brake rotors last week and the light has yet to come on again.. I was thinking a loose connection? but at least looking at my Legacy the wires for the Airbag are tucked pretty out of the way compared to other wires on the car...
  13. Ok looking at it more it must be picture one but it looks like I'd need to clean the inside of the flange so it would make a good seal.. I don't have a wire wheel.. is using a light grit sandpaper ok?
  14. I don't see how you can remove the transmission with the drivesshafts still in place.
  15. sorry to bump this thread but I think I have the same issue.. what is this baffle plate that everyone talks about? I need to change my oil pan anyways because it's rusting where the stick tube goes and the rear of the pan is leaking. kinda seen here
  16. I've never used these types of gaskets before the donut type which is between the output of the 2nd cat and center pipe on my 95 Legacy L which way should the gasket face in the center pipe?
  17. trust me I did.. I have a nice burn mark on my wrist.. I learned the hard way that the cat stays hotter longer then the rest
  18. odd I tried a 22 mm socket I had but the white connector would not fit but I don't understand how you could take the Oxy Sensor off without pinching the wires
  19. I hear they have a special removal tool for the sensor? I'm sure advance auto or auto zone has it?
  20. Replaced my headers today however does anyone know what size socket is needed to take the Oxygen sensor out?
  21. sounds like a good thing to do if I was really going to go offroad Also last part of testing here my tank mileage is on par currently to before this flooding happened so the ECU is not doing anything weird. Friday will be driving up to Rhode Island
