  1. Thank you for the help.. I will check again in the morning, I have been searching and have seen the relay was an issue.. if I do need a replacement which seems like that might be the issue I would just need the motor relay right?
  2. thanks everyone, I had a battery drain flat because of this.. my ABS was actived today and arriving at home I did not know the ABS pump was still running with the car off.. I only found out later when the car was dead.. I did get a new battery but the pump started up again as soon as I connected the battery. So long story short what part do I need from SubaruParts.com? Relay, all models, motor 95-96 Or Relay, all models, valve 95-97 Or do I need both?
  3. the brakes don't drag since the cable is not really being pulled at all how it's connected.
  4. My ABS must be in the code reading mode as it always flashes code 11 on every time I start the car and the ABS light will stop blinking when I put my foot on the brake and will not come on again... However (bear with me..) this morning I was curious if the ABS was working since i suspect it being in the code reading mode and the ABS kicked in and the ABS light came on solid.. HOWEVER... when I got back home I did not know the ABS pump was still running while the car was OFF and parked with the keys out.. it caused me to drain my whole battery dead... so long story short I brought a new battery and hooked it up and as soon as I did the ABS pump started running again with no keys in the car.. since I could not find the fuse I just pulled the plug near the ABS pump since I could not find where the fuse was... My question is Is it doing this because it's in the code reading mode? and How can I get it out of that mode? (I heard it's two plugs under the dash but I can't find them) I found this... http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1995-to-1999-subaru-legacy-2.htm "Brakes: Some of the ABS (antilock brake system) hydraulic motors were faulty, causing them to run intermittently even after the key is turned off. (1995-98)"
  5. so it should stand up between the two holes? I don't have a bike to look up
  6. crap I was hoping you would not say clockwise.. It's hard as heck since the cable does not have much slack at all.. what you see in the picture is as far as it will go out at least.. How I was trying to do it when I finally got it around enough to slip the cable in I just tried to push it down into the hole but only half of the lower part went in until it popped out again. *EDIT I think I got it.. I had a helper press the brake and clutch should anything move? I saw the slack being taken up but I'm not sure if the plate should move or not..
  7. I brought a 95 Legacy L wagon on the 6th of this month and I knew the car had the Hill holder but I see it has been disconnected.. since I'm not good on hills yet and tired to use the ebrake way how can I connect this back? It seem the cable goes on the plate but how? Here is a picture
