Let me guess you have a 5 MT? I used to drive only auto Subaru's and I never noticed this problem.. but my last two have been manuals and yes you can feel when the AC kicks in.. it's really annoying in low speed traffic to have it kick in and the car will jerk because of it. I always thought they were crazy at NASIOC saying they could feel the AC kick in at highway speed.. but it's true.

yeah to the person who said not to peicemeal it.. awhile back when I did mine last year in Aug I saved and saved until I had all my parts took a picture of it all on the floor and started working on it for the vacation.. I did run out of money to get the head resurafaced so I planned everything so I would be done with the engine related stuff right on Friday, dropped the heads off to get resurfaced and that was that.. followed the service manual 100% marked my headbolts with paint so I would get the 90 degrees or however it said to tighten (can't remember) aven't had any problems.. I was in stop and go traffic 3 days ago and it was really humid and hot out and that was the first time I saw my temp climb I took out torque app and the temp went to I think 206 F I set my alarm to go off at 210F but as soon as I started moving all was fine.

That's the part I don't like.. I would prefer if it was in the stock location. -

I have a question the Tahoe mount was that a glass mount? I wonder how it would fit on a 2nd gen Legacy? -
All 99 tahoes had this mirror stock? I might have to go searching for it, i'm going to guess the mirror is on something that's switched on when the car is on, it's been awhile since I checked on what to use but seems easy but what about the temp sensor? while I don't flip my mirror that often I hate when a car with one headlight aimed up high gets behind you.. I kinda think they do that on purpose.

that's not bad at all sometimes I think it's better to drive with the AC instead of driving with the window open

I'm going to do the Spar urethane on my headlights big huge discussion on it (just search on google, holds up way better then those headlight restore kits or polish. And since my car sits facing the sun like 4-5 hours a day this is good for me.. I already have the stuff sitting on my table I'm just not going to do that until the lights get sealed up.
