I have a 97 Legacy Outback and I still can't figure out what black connectors you are talking about.. only thing I can guess right now is the ABS connector but that's not what he's looking for. -
I was just getting ready to check for the part number for the cover.. some of the smallest things cost so much... $22.03 from this one site However they list them as left right and center but they don't say what.. I'm going to guess as if you are looking at the engine so in my case I would need the right cover?

^ uhmm.. the green mode connector plugs are for testing.. which this could be the reason.. however his year legacy you don't need to connect that to read the codes. -
I was driving to work one morning and I don't know if it was something on the road (it's always something each morning) but I heard something go pop... and I was like what's that? Long story short my timing belt cover pretty much cracked at the screw part and was just hanging on... and it was angled enough so the plastic was rubbing on the belt so I was also wondered why I heard this sound as the Rps changed..

Some old pics... out of all of them I miss the '03 Forester XS First started off with the 97 Forester L had a 95 impreza L FWD for awhile had a 95 Legacy for awhile... current 97 legacy outback I've noticed a little minor handling changes going from the 95 to 97 legacy. it would be so nice with a front and rear LSD.. I want to put a front LSD in when I replace the transmission.. still thinking about that. few years later traded it in for this 03 Forester XS with like 24K on it

So I finally got the pipe from the dealer (annoyed on that part) from Subarupartsforyou.com Anyways I got that with the 3 screws They are labeled screws for fuel filler top.. Are these the one that replace the screws on the gas inlet? They look different. I figure I'd do it now it's raining but timing is good since I'm pretty much on a empty tank. Any tips on removing the hoses? Is the hose on the evap part hard to remove? I don't think I've seen talk on that part before.

Wow not happy with subarupartsforyou.com right now.. I placed the customer pick up order early enough on Friday and 24 he later still waiting to get an email for my order.. And I called asking if it was in stock and they said yes. I would of been better off just driving to the dealership to pick the order up and spend the extra money

yeah it's going to be like $115 with tax Not sure how long it would take for them to email me back when I can pick it up.. hopefully it's same day I've been trying to stay near empty to have less gas spilling.. I'm curious to see how big the hole is given if you fill the tank it leak at a good rate like 4-6 drops a second.

I'm going to pick this up Friday from what I understand this is the part I need 42066FA031 My build date is 1/97 Has anyone used the shipping part of the site? That's a huge price difference and it's not far from me at all maybe like 30-35 miles and I asked before if they would match the internet price and I was told I'd need to place the order so in other words I guess that's a no.. If it's going to take like 5 days to get to me then I'd have to pick it up I guess ah I correct myself called them again and they say I can do customer pickup but I'd have to wait for them to contact me when to pick it up but I won't have to pay for shipping
