I don't know but after Ian did a few updates I've had no disconnects while driving 30 min to get home, works great now but I'm going to get the smaller blue looking bluetooth because I kicked the current one with my knee getting out one day and bent a few pins. However mind you when you leave it plugged in it sucks up battery power from the car.

Exhaust studs

Never heard of SubaruOnlineParts but they ship from Hicksville, NY which is cool because most of my Subaru parts ordering I would order from http://www.subaruparts.com/ But something like a exhaust stud the shipping would eat up the savings. the gaskets I'm just going to pick them up local I wished Subaru would have a little bit more uniform pricing among dealers. -

holy crap the studs were $3.75 each at the dealer and get this.. a single exhaust gasket was $13.63.... Lets see Dan Perkins was $7 and some change each.. I better pick some up this Friday when I head back that way. -

weird I've never heard of a car adjusting the valves while the engine was still warm. -
When you did your did you replace it because you noticed hesitation or did you get a CEL? I get hesitation after say driving for like 3 min after warming up the car after sitting for like 4 hours or so. I wonder why some trigger the CEL sooner then later and some never at all until it's like undriveable. Hopefully no issues when removing it.

good to see it lives on but you jinxed me now lol I just estimated that I'm getting around 11-15 MPG now in part to my oxygen sensor has really gone to ************ now and my 2 exhaust studs fell out on the passenger side which creates a huge leak. I'm going to get the studs tomorrow along with the single gasket and ordering the oxygen sensor and a new dryer for the AC.

damn my studs with the rusted on nuts must of fell out someplace so the passenger side is just held in with one now.. drivers side still seems to be fine.. Does anyone know the replacement size stud? I'm not buying another one from the dealer.. last time I went I think one was like $6 or 9 it was stupid... I'm sure McMaster-Carr has SOMETHING. Does M10 x 1.25 sound right?

I heard Westport was bad.. are you near the river? I was lucky never to lose power here I feel bad for some people still getting power back after all this time. And yeah I finished up just in time very lucky.. I did not really know it was going to come up this way until about 4 days after I was done.

But your reflector housing was designed for HID's the problem here (I just skipped to last page) trying to put HID's in a old 80's car and they have fluted lens and not clear is just as bad if you use a projector or reflector.. the fluted lens pattern looks nasty on a wall at night.

hah you are right I guess never hurts to be extra cautious.. haha the funny thing with all of this is I have a friend down the street that has a wrx wagon it's a '03 and he saw me pulling my motor, and he was like damn bro you have it all apart (had the heads off at the time) haha so we said he has this motor in his basement that he did not know what was wrong with it.. long story short it was a Ej20 block with one of the pistons removed (wow those bores are small) he was wondering what he could do with it since he did not know what was wrong with it or what car it came from (schooled him) I'm not sure if they removed the piston because of rod knock or whatever

I have a friend with a evacuation system.. first I have to see how much pressure is in the system with my manifold gauges, I wont be able to get around to that until Monday at least. the leak is really only at the fitting because when it did hiss i had to tighten the bolt just a bit more and it stopped.. and if it's anything like my 95 legacy the o-rings were shot.
