I just replaced the slave cylinder and I sucked out all the fluid and refilled it I cracked open the bleeder screw and I have the speed bag with it, so what happens is it seems I keep refilling the clutch back up to max (6th time) and the pedal still stays stuck on the floor and I have to pull it back up.. I'm lost I'm not sure what's going on here.

My car has a sluggish oxygen sensor but has not thrown a code yet.. matter of fact the car will only hesitate after it's warmed up and never when it's cold.

Got my motor back in and car starts but I got this weird steam coming from the passenger side timing belt cover area.. also the car sounds funny when giving it sharp throttle I'm not sure if it's because the coil pack got wet during the thunderstorm since I did not have the plugs connected. But it does start and run!

uhmm lets make sure we are on the same page.. here is where I'm stuck I don't see anything near by where the coolant line hooks into.. I know it's gotta be some place given the short length of the hose.. *edit just saw your edit.. Oh man.. I hope I don't have to lift the intake manifold again for that.. I just put on new gaskets..

Ok I adjusted the chain and I've got like a 3/8" gap left but how far do I need to go before the splines on the tranny catch?? I took the jack off the tranny to lower it but the tranny is still raised I thought the transmission only used one transmission mount? So What's keeping it up while I got the motor almost on the transmission? this is my first time pulling a subaru motor and a manual one at that so I'm not sure how close stuff should be before the splines line up on the trans.

I'm almost done!!! One issue I have is trying to get the tranny to line up with the clutch and the pins to slide into the tranny.. When I pulled the motor I jacked the tranny up but now that I'm trying to put it back in should I lower it? It seems a little impossible to get the pins and the splines to all bolt in

Found the problem!! the bolt had threads the whole length of the bolt for the new TB tensioner so I swapped the sleeve from the old and the bolt and set to 29-ft lb and it works! lesson learned don't throw away old parts until you for sure double.. triple check to make sure everything lines up like it was before!

lol people always say to count to be sure.. I dunno I'm tired lol maybe I will be recharged in the morning.. I could put the motor back in but I want all the room I can get now. Only other thing I can think of is don't set the intake cam on the mark so when I install that last pulley near the oil filter it will finally line up right..

lol.. here is what I don't get.. the drivers side is set up right.. and the passenger side the marks are not really lined up but the tooth count matches with the notch at the top.. As far as that belt tensioner I left it finger tight for the time being until I can 100% make sure that I have the timing set right.. Here is a picture.. the notch on the side of the exhaust cam counting up to the top of the notch on the intake is 28 but why does the cam look like that? It sure did not look like that when I took the old belt off. :-/ I'm tried going to stop for tonight
