  1. some people think it's not needed since all that air was metered air after the mass airflow sensor
  2. wow that same stuff happened to my 95 Legacy but it was still giving me 14V on the output but I'm going to guess one of the diodes were failing inside. also the cluster the speedo, tach and odo and trip are all electronic driven
  3. wow.. It's a Blow Off Valve (BOV) the sound you hear is the pressure that was built up with the turbo being vented out to the atmosphere has nothing to do with the clutch other then he has to depress the clutch to shift which then the BOV vents.

  5. Speed bleeder ordered! I got the Stainless steel and the small bag, came to $23.95 no rush for the bleeder since I'm doing that last.
  6. I'm going to use the caliper grease I will check on it when I take the transmission out again in a few months.
  7. I took them off because on my other car I had JDM tail lights..way cleaner then those amber turn signals (yuck) and rear finisher lights
  8. What profiles do you have for the ej25 cams? Any suggestions?
  9. damn.. been trying to get rid of this driver's side tail light forever.. it's been here for like 3 years.. I might just junk it however
  10. I would never go by what haynes says but then again the Subaru manual had a mistake too. but they quickly fixed it.
  11. Question is caliper grease too light to use or should I stick with the white lithium grease?
  12. What grind is good for a EJ25D? Been thinking of doing something like this in the future.
  13. ^ yes that's what my FSM says for a 97 OBW since I searched on google last night I did not find much info on socket size but it seems to be 8 and 6mm bolts?
  14. on my ej22 that's how I knew it was low as well.. not like I don't check it or anything but I was dealing with leaks and all as well
  15. my other stuff came in today... hmm is it just me or the intake gaskets larger in opening size then the ej22? I have 2 questions about the slave cylinder what end sticks into the boot part and for the clutch fork for the ball pivot what grease should I use? One site I saw had some kind of red looking stuff but I don't think they ever posted the name of it. must be the blunt end of it
  16. Are you guys that are custom fitting the LED blinkers are you doing the front too? Do the older stuff run 1157 bulbs in the front?
  17. yep it sucks so bad when it's raining out and I have them riding my tail plus the 6000+ K HID's it's amazing how far down the road I could see reflector signs and that was just modding the stock JDM projector so it would be LHD.. I can't wait to do the proper retrofit
  18. you think it puts out less light output because a reflector fluted lens like the stock USDM Legacy the light scatters which makes it look brighter but it's not (creates lots of glare) my JDM headlights I made a LHD shield , I can't wait till I'm done with all this engine work since I want to buy another pair in put in some FX projectors which should really be nice.
  19. it's never been open so I figure after doing the brakes and clutch it should be almost gone by then
  20. Aww man my ABS light has been on since I got this car from the last owner in May turns out the right rear sensor is bad.. so looking at the replacement it seems like the right rear is the one that costs the most.. figures.. it's like $126 or so
  21. Im sad when I totaled my car my JDM headlights got smashed they are 1000X better then stock.. Once I'm done and get the passenger side back in alignment so that the headlight fits right so I can put the grill in I will start doing the lights Monday im just going to bust out the BFH to the inner radiator support.
