  1. Seems like the switch is no good going by what my FSM says in the background I only get continuity if I press and hold the switch down on the pins as shown in the manual which is 3 & 5 should I jumper the plug that goes to the switch to check?
  2. first of all that's a mess.. you need to trace where it goes to and I can tell you that's not factory.. I've never seen any stock lin-line fuse on a Subaru.. and that 2nd picture is a fuse tap.
  3. Ah I was wondering if they were powdered coated.. looks to be satin black? I wanted to do my outback wheels that color for winter wheels
  4. I had one jam up on the threads and would just spin the ball joint around.. Not sure what happened since I made sure it was not cross threaded.
  5. yeah I picked up my head gaskets from the dealer yesterday but I should of priced shopped over at SL-I.net they were like $109 was too much.. So I'm going to call around before I get the timing belt. Those are the only two things I wont fool around with on this motor.. on my Ej22 I went with a non subaru timing belt which gave me no problems.
  6. looking at my service manual I printed out what about the relay for it? I noticed (or at least I've not heard it) the click sound when you press the switch from the relay. I'd have to check later.
  7. sounds like me when I was in slow moving traffic the car acted like it wanted to go out.. turns out the alt output was shorting to the body of the alt but I think it helped do the alt in quicker.. right before my crash it started to really get bad.
  8. I have a question I tried to search on google but I never really got any hits.. but with all the versions of the gaskets (not sure how many) what makes theses gaskets better?
  9. hah yeah he was baffled why I could not use a normal washer lol I tried to explain but just gave up lmao.
  10. Anyone know the current part number for the DOHC gaskets? if not I will just head down to the dealer seems like 11044AA610?
  11. wait... what gasket is what? I thought the gasket part number was 11044AA471? I'm about to go to the dealer in about an hour to buy them for my 97 outback *edit ok looks like the part numbers keep changing for each version change.
  12. Yeah side to side movement feels stiffer it was stupid it took almost 2 weeks to get that stupid large washer.. must of came from SIA.
  13. Did anyone see the video what is that switch in front of the heated seats switch?
  14. hah.. http://www.henrysauto.com/MN.asp?pg=products&specific=143&loadup=1
  15. Sounds just like my mom she was yapping telling me I'm putting too much money in my car (my leggy 95) and she was like you need to get a newer model.. and I was like why so I have to replace the same parts that need to be replaced that I already did on the 95.
