parts came the plastic PCV thing looks different then the one I had before but still the same.. that rubber tube from the block to the plastic piece the rest should be ok. too bad it came so late today was a nice day... 61 F outside.... Tomorrow in the 30's LOL

yeah I had one on my 1.8L impreza sounded cool but not going to do it again since I go offroad and that's the last thing I need to happen.. it's bad enough my ECU got muddy water on it and shorted out on the trail.. lucky for me a buddy had a spare in his car that matched the one I had.

I never could find any pictures of the backside of any with the sunroof controls and i did not want to risk having with the controls without a working switches.. my aftermarket switches are lighted too.. I have a diagram for it but unknown if it's my model or an older one. Would be really sweet if I could get it to work with the stock subaru..i mean really in it's basic way it's closing the connection to start the motor.. things only get odd when you don't know if it's just a pure push button or has some type of micro control along with it. hmm thinking about doing this early spring.. I was looking at rockauto and they have one that's $13.17 and sold in packs of 4.. that part confused me does that mean i'm only getting 4 of them? as the same time I was going to do the valve cover gasket.

yeah it's crazy how they did it before.. Anyways I this morning ordered the maplight on ebay from an 02 WRX Now I will get to see for myself how much hacking I need to do to get the heatsinks to fit. I would of used 10 mm rebel LED's but they came from Canada which made my cost a little higher. If I'm lucky today I can do the dome light project today

well I was looking at the subaruparts.com site.. I heard from someone hear they have an overstock issue.. but I will call the dealer in the morning to check *edit just noticed they have a $50 core price.. So hmm Do dealers make you pay a core?

I'm new school but I have the same issue.. the first shift into 2nd gear is very jerky but after driving for a few it's fine... only when cold like below 32f I have that.. i know when the gear oil is due for a change I get a clash going into 2nd

hahah:clap: I got my fingers crossed that my first LED order for the dome light will be in tomorrow.. 3-up Star LED at 350 mA with an output of around 437 lm which is like almost 4 times brighter then what's in the car now... it would be cool to have the lights fade out after like 10 seconds or so.

on mine it express opens and closes express meaning no need to press twice like you said.. it will only stop closing if something gets in the way when closing.

well the whole reason mine never worked when I tried to replace it almost 2 years ago is because the little metal extension that the gasket sits on, on the converter end is missing which is why my gasket was spinning around with every exhaust pulse.

How wide is the map light? about 8 1/2" it would be nice to be able to leave it in it's same place AND put the maplight in but then it would be off center

I guess I can cut and splice in the LED driver after the connection in the roof. As for the ground that might be a little tricky. And for the sunroof I'm sitting here looking at the pdf and I just noticed my switch it has express open and vent options but I think the old school switches did not have express open did they? When I have the courage to take the switch out of the headliner I will take a look at the backside but hmm not too sure now. Also feeling around it seems like the area under the visor is hallow.

i found what might be a wire diagram for the ASC sunroof but I'd have to see with the Subaru one.. if need be I will move the switch over under the visor since I don't open the sunroof all that much anyways. I mean the switch must be basic.. but has a control to allow it to stay open when the car is off or close when the car is turned off. I want to guess with the map lights you have 12V coming in splitting off to each maplight right?

when i got my car 2 years ago my waterpump was shot.. it was so bad it would not hold any antifreeze lol.. easy to replace

yeah I know it's a festoon that part I knew about but is the bulb angled or how does it sit in the fixture?
