Hmmm,
I forgot that the three hash marks you use are not the same as the timing mark for the spark. (I just replaced the belts on my '86 three days ago, duh)
If the belts didn't break, you could maybe replace them without moving anything
BTW, the dimples in the cam sprockets will be 180 apart after the cams are timed.
good luck bro'

O.K. This might work :-\
Since your going to time the cams anyway.......
Bring the #1 piston to top dead center and mark something. Like the crank sprocket and block... just so you have a reference point.
Then replace the belts per procedure.
Since the cams are retimed, you can make any stroke you want the compression stroke. I think.............
Sounds logical anyway :-)

The color is (I think) Cosmic Blue. The color code tag is missing from the core support but I could look around on the car for another one.
I don't have a hood, Sorry:(

Any engine stand will work. The four "fingers" that bolt to the back of the block will adjust to fir an EA-81.

Hey GD,
I have think I have your left fender, as long as a wagon will fit.
I thought the one I had was dented but I looked at it today and it's good.IT'S EVEN THE RIGHT COLOR
The Antenna is on the Passenger side.
I'm over in Vancouver, You can have it for $20.00 if you come over and pull it yourself.
Let me know,

O.K.,
This one must have gotten lost in the move. I'll ask again...
1. Will an XT6 front bar fit bolt up on an EA82 Wagon?
2. Will the rear bar from an EA82 Turbo Sedan bolt up to the rear of an EA82 Wagon?
3. Is it worth the effort?
4. What do I need to be "Double Dang Sure" to grab when I pull the bars?
Will EA81/EA82 3spd 2wd auto trannies interchange?
in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...

I've never done it but..... They should. If the manual trannies will so should the autos. Since there's no flywheel all you have to worry about is the flex plate and torque converter.
You might need the converter from one and the flex plate from another but I kind of doubt it.
There may be bigger issues than the bolt up though.
