  1. That would be fine with me. Provided I'm not moving into my new house by then.
  2. Centralia is technically considered part of Southwest Washington.
  3. You know I'm in for it. We just need to pick a spot.
  4. I have the moderate(non-rear coilover) ea81 lift, and I love it. Installation was easy, and the parts are nice and durable. It was just what I need to get my swampers under there. And unlike the last kit I installed, my shifter doesn't hit the body and didn't have to be bent. I'm using my stock hoses, just had to shorten the lower one. I did have a couple ground wires that had to be lengthened, and my pitch stopper is now too short. Then again, I'm also using a motor out of a different car. Haven't done an alignment, but it really doesn't seem to need it.
  5. Sounds good to me. Which rig I bring depends on where we go. There's a trail near me in Cinebar that the locals use, most of the snow should be clear after this weeks rain. It's marked Nfd 71 Rd on this map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&addtohistory=&address=%5b100%2d233%5d%20Studhalter%20Rd&city=Cinebar&state=WA&zipcode=98533&country=US&location=8rOqe9Ipx9Kv5mS%2fef1kC0%2frIRpGLmnNmG5JY%2bFWyjKTfNUQYUKz1Svs8SrOvszP%2b4YK8UzSXuT3LJsMsreHNqZUnYrCSb1%2fsfKbypvOO5JDKmXOGTiRzBnKvM8w6Cmy1%2fx44WU72l%2fEMylZPNaXZQ%3d%3d
  6. As if I didn't have enough projects already, now it looks like I might be pulling that XT6 AWD d/r tranny I have out of storage this spring. Nice find.
  7. What exactly do you consider 'old school'? http://cleptoscastle.com/albums/album02/82WagonLifted_2.jpg
  8. Yeah, what he said. That looks more like your were doing some medieval torture to your car, rather than working on it.
  9. Umm, DNR says the trails are closed to all motorized vehicles until March 31st. Edit: My bad I guess, there's another announcement that says it's open again for "limited winter use" on December 28th.
  10. Very cool, but I would have been really paranoid had I been the owner of that Honda Pilot. When it snowed here last month I took the wife's WRX out for some fun, but we never got enough coverage to really make it worthwhile.
  11. Cool, sounds like a good find. We all expect full documentation as you reassemble the block. Any idea what the yard wanted for the motor in that RX?
  12. Are you in Centralia, Washington? I have a carbed ea82, and would be interested in your leftover fuel injection parts.
  13. That's always the case with me too. Just when I think I'm ready to go, something new bites me in the rump roast. I finally sorted out the wiring snafu on my wagon, and then my wiper motor died.
  14. Don't know if it is a direct cause of your problem, but improper grounding is going to give you all sort of weird electrical issues. Subarus seem to be exceptionally prone to those types of things.
  15. Welcome to the board, we've all been dying to hear more about your rig since someone posted a link to your videos a while back.
  16. For me, the choice of which lift to go with came down to price. I practically stole my lift kit from Allied Armament, and am incredibly happy with it's quality. They've also proven themselves willing to go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I also have a "homemade" kit on another car, it's really not that hard to do if you can weld.
  17. That's what I want to know too. Get us some night pictures when you get the chance.
  18. Post the same topic in multiple forums is going to get you yelled at.
  19. It was bent back as good as possible without removing the bar. I'm doing a rearend swap on it come spring and will be replacing the bar at that time.
  20. One of my wagons has a bent one from someone using it to tow it out of the mud. Hasn't adversely affected anything to date.
  21. Five running (One leaky head gasket) Two non-running parts cars.
  22. There's a pic of the bumper that's on my wagon in this thread. I can supply you with a better one if wanted. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=47750
  23. Three states if you count Lewis County. This county operates as if Nixon is still the president. However, the cost of living is nice and low.
  24. Wow, the last time I saw that much block carnage it was in a RSX where the guy mis-shifted at 6k RPM. Makes me feel better about tackling my ea82t in the spring.
  25. Is this it? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/USRM2/3rdEye/using_center_light_w.htm That's exactly what I needed.
