  1. Obviously start with all the above, easiest things first. But not to burst any bubbles or sound like a know it all but most of the seat heater problems I see are due to the grid in the seat failing, not to hard of a fix if your mechanicly capable and you have some patients and some hog ring plyers. Hope its a bad connection, good luck.
  2. With older pads the procedure was to get them hot to i'm guessing help cure them and bed them in, but if you look at all the procedures from OEM pads now including Subaru it seems to me they just want to make sure to get the contact aria between the pad and rotor correct and not to get the pad to hot. When i go for the first test drive after doing a brake job i do about 10-15 moderate stops with about a quarter to half mile inbetween to make sure and not overheat them, works for me, no comebacks for poor performance, or sqeel, when using subaru pads.
  3. First off hi to all, this is my first post. I like this idea of an all subaru model forum instead of a model specific, I mean if there was ever a manufacturer that interchainged its parts, but i digress. My susgestion would be to go to your local dealer and see if there are any ECU reflashes available that haven't been performed on your car. I know for the USDM foresters there is a reflash for this problem (hesitation, stalling and afterfireing, as subaru puts it), it usually requers replacement of the front A/F sensor, but you said it was recently replaced. And it seems to me that I've been doing more of these reflashes in the spring and fall when our gas seems to change, anyway hope it works out.
