  1. back in the saddle again. I changed the title for ya moosey. I got an email that says if you preregister (I'm not sure of the exact cut off) they will send you the window stickers in advance so you don't have to screw around at the white building...you can just roll through. SWEET!
  2. I sent the paperwork for the club tent yesterday and I got an email today that we do indeed have a club tent for free this year. THEREFORE we will only need to register the amount of vehicles we plan of bringing to the show. The date: May 21-23, 2010 Where: Carlisle Fairgrounds Carlisle PA more info and to register online: www.carlisleevents.com WHEN YOU REGISTER YOU MUST PUT ON YOUR REGISTRATION THAT YOU ARE WITH THE CLUB "ULTIMATE SUBARU" OR WE DON'T GET CREDIT FOR YOU! If you register with them PLEASE post here as to how many vehicles you are bringing (registrations bought), what you are bringing, and if you have an idea of when you might arrive at the show. If you are into camping there are provisions for you and there should be info on their web site. I have no experience other then ripping at tent down late at night but lets not go there. Be forwarned this is a respectable show with nice friendly people. If you are going to do something that an a$$hat would do please don't come. They will kick you out and that would suck. Fees are on their website and the prices do go up when you are within 19 days of the show so if you are going, buy your spots early to save some $$$. Feel free to discuss here in this thread but lets keep it on topic and about the show or it will be edited out by a mod.
  3. I love the FWD 5 speeds! I had one once and it was one heck of a great car! Welcome to USMB
  4. mid sept!!!!!!!!! some of us really want to come but have work issues that prohibit August. Please let us know asap cause I really do want to come and I need to buy plane tickets to do so. Thanks!
  5. exactly. I have an 06 (the last year made and also the reason I bought it)
  6. that doesn't sound like too bad of a deal. I have a baja and I love it. If it is nice and all seems well I'd go for it.
  7. oh I wnated to add that: NO UNNESSARY SPOT BUYING THIS YEAR. I think we have enough for a tent b/c of last years numbers but if not we will find an alternative source of shade (EZ ups etc) and figure it out from there. I do want to stress that people who buy a spot to use the club name "ULTIMATE SUBARU" I will call them soon and get the low down on all this.
  8. there will be a Carlisle this year. I was going to start a post about Feb 1st about it. I just got the stuff sent to me for the club registration and all that jazz. I also plan on making a phone call too in the very near future and discussing some stuff about last year just to make our posisition clear with them. Start planning...I already requested the days off. Hopefully my SVX will be STICK by then but who the hell knows....
  9. Becker is Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've spent too much damn money there in the past.
  10. Welcome! Lancaster county here! (but I like to go to Becker and window shop a lot)
  11. I like these too. I would love to do it to a bug.
  12. welcome from a guy on the other side of the river from you. Good luck with it and enjoy it.
  13. yeah but when you buy the replacemant "kit" it comes with both. I really don't understand the design as to why there are 2 filters when one oddball could have been designed.
  14. a Forester and an Impreza should be the same... have a look: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/airfiltration.html
  15. well they make it sound like it is a kit. It is not. If your vehicle has provisions for it then the "kit" is just (in my case) 2 filters. I'm not sure how to put one in a Forester and I'm not sure if it is any different then my Baja but it is a little frustrating b/c you have to take the glovebox out and there are in my case like 8 different screws to take out. What a PIA. I will say that every filter comes with a sticker to put somewhere to tell you when to replace it and it comes with INSTRUCTIONS. Thank God for the instructions The more you do it the better you get at it and if you have a cordelss screwdriver get it charged up cause that will save you a lot of BS (of course I don't have one worth a snot)
  16. my baja didn't come with one but there is a spot for it. I installed mine and I have to say it picks up an amazing amount of dirt. Highly recommended...and yes the price from the dealer is nuts! (mine was $39 but I had sube bucks)
  17. denise got hammered by them too. She showed me 9 on one ankle alone tonight.
  18. just got home a few min ago. Did it in 4 hrs on the way back through. Good weather and it started raining just as i got the last of the stuff out of the car. Sweet! talk more tomorrow...I'm beat.
