check your inspection laws and such....here in PA you can't put retreads on a steering axle (front)....so you would only be able to use them on the rear...

It was a great time as always in Danbury. The trip home was pretty good....saw a few deer off to the side of the road (a little scary at 72mph) but all was for the most part well. I got some severe knee pain on the way home and stopped in N NJ to walk around the car for a few min along I-287...trying to walk it off. Didn't work. I made it to just inside PA and i had to give it up and let Michelle finish off the driving task. Don't know what I did but it was killing me badly on the trip home. I really wish the GL had cruise b/c I could have really used it last night... Feeling better today and should be fine tomorrow. We ended up getting home last night at about 2:14 AM. We were in bed by 2:30 and I slept (thanks to tylenol PM for cutting the knee pain) till noon. It is tough somedays being a traveling mechanic... Had a great time and hope we can do it again in the spring.... (hint hint):-p Great to see eveyone again. Hope bucky likes his new parts.

RELAX!!!!! whatever you do DO NOT CLEAN THE HOUSE. We are going to most likely track dirt in the house from all of the work etc. that it is just going to fudge it all to heck. Clean the bathroom and the front room if you want but don't do the kitchen.... Relax!!!!!! smoke a butt and take a breather.... its gonna be a good time but it is going to suck if you are all freaked out trying to be a domestic diva.

I'm bringing stands (4) and a jack too. It is a smaller 2.5 ton but it works well. Dave and melis: be safe and have a good trip and call if you guys get into a bind or something.... My car is packed.....anyone else more excited than they should be????

there is an engine that I know of already out of the car and in a heated shop that is exactly what you need. it is within a 20 mile radius of me and my zip code is 17501 (mapquest it). If you want to make the trip LMK and I will get a price and details about it.

I think we will be there God willing in the 10 o'clock hr if everything goes alright. As for corn don't look at me..... I most likely won't have time for shopping this week. Sam Adams is fine but please make sure you have some soda/water on hand.... I don't always drink when I wrench...I tend to drink more than wrench then. potato salad= good. Mac salad=not for me.... veggies (celery) is/are good but I use dip on them which really kills any nutrational value. I'm glad we are having as a special guest chef "cornholio". i can taste the corn already.... If you guys need to run to the store in the morning....you and michelle can take my car if need be.

as messed up as this is.... i have the car packed already and what isn't already in the car is in a small pile in the garage...Can't tell that I'm excited.....

we are going to roll out fairly early on sat. to head up. I have to make a side trip to drop off my Impreza at the soob dealer in Reading (on the way up) so it is going to put me off course a few miles but no biggie. I figure we will get up like we would if going to work and head to Ct. My bad on the I-95 thing.....I was thinking one thing and typing another.
