  5. hey, so for some reason i guess my private messaging was turned off. idk. how's my GL doing that you picked up like over a year ago from me? i was just looking at some old pics and i miss it :P

if for some reason you can't reply to me on here, feel free to email me if you want. justinwynne@hotmail.com

  6. I am going to sell it if I can get a loan for a new car, because I don't have the cash upfront to pay for the problems that it has. That is the reason why I'm coming here, because I know someone here would love to take this and turn into something really badass. If I had the time and money, I would be the one making something badass, but I'm lacking on both of those haha. GD: This car can drive for long distances as well - I have driven it multiple times from Federal Way to Port Angeles and to Forks and back, with no problems. And that was back when it had an oil leak from the valve covers and a leaky radiator/water pump, and now it could make it there no problem.
  7. An 85 GL completely stock? Just replaced the radiator about two weeks ago, and an alternator and clutch a few months back. It has (I think) a bad head gasket, really leaky exhaust, and I'm not sure what it is but it just started sounding like a harley, or a derby car. The CV joints are going bad and make noise when turning, and the back left tire makes some noise sometimes... Also, a lot of the hoses are disconnected, as I have no clue how they go originally. Other than that, the car is great and I've been driving it for 3 years and has only broken down on me once when the alternator went out. The body is pretty straight except a few places here and there, and one tiny rust area the size of a quarter on the hood. The interior is also nice. Thanks, Justin
  8. Alright, thanks. I kinda want that reply from GD though. I want to know the specs
  9. It's a station wagon, carb'd. I'm sure you knew that without me telling you, though.
  10. Hey, I'm pretty new to owning and working on my own car, but I love what I have done with my Dad in the past and have always been very interested. I've been driving my GL for around a year and a half now, and have always wanted to go about modding it and taking it offroad, but never had the money, and would like to start now. I am just wondering how I can tell what engine is in my 85 GL? Justin
