  1. Use a hosting site like photobucket... copy the IMG code from photobucket or the host site and past it in the new bulletin...
  2. Needed the money :/ but Ill get new wheels sooner rather than later
  3. While waiting on some items for newer mods... I painted my grill black... Minus subaru emblem... but I kinda like it that way... looks clean.... it may get the Subaru emblem if I find a REALLY nice one for it...
  4. Painted the grill on NED in my build thread (its a work in progress thread actually) http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=133162 Heres KiKi and NED together with their painted grills
  5. If you wont buy or recommend a Subaru to anyone again, sell them super cheap to someone who can fix them and move on. Hopefully they get picked up by a Subaru person who knows exactly how to fix them and make them last... Ive seen 460k on an 85 DL, 212K on an 84 GL, 202k on an 84 DL, 92 Loyale with 246K and my current car has 180K. Several members have seen over 300K on Legacy models etc. These are great cars... sure there are bound to be design flaws, but thats no reason to never recommend a Subaru or buy one. Its also a "he-said, they-said" situation... I have seen people in 2011 STi's get told to take it easy the first 5000 miles on the car so everything gets broken in smoothly.... first thing they do off the lot is bounce it off the rev limiter... so you say never driven over 70 miles per hour and maintained, they probably think you abused it and thats why they dont want to help you. You probably wont win in that situation... If I were you, Id have the work done privately, and forget the dealer and the warranty... or sell it if you dont wanna do that.
  6. Things done to my dads 90 Legacy: Tab found @ JY so headlight can be aimed correctly. Corner marker fixed (yet another tab broken) Grill... sanded and painted... wonder if a Subaru I badge will fit where the logo is, cuz its worn out and looks bad Its the simple things... I have plans for NED coming up, and cant leave "KiKi" un-touched...
  7. Lookin good Jeszek! Ive thought of the twin fan idea in NED, Im just not sure I wanna do the wiring haha.. I do like Stubies_Subie's Loyale though... reads like 1/3 up the gauge MAX (hes got the dual fans) Ive always worried that it could get TOO COOL, like the engine cant reach its operating temperature correctly?
  8. Hey now, dont give me ideas... I need to upgrade the soundproofing, but I have other priorities before WCSS
  9. Go into the "newer generation" section.

On the left hand side youll see a tab saying "new thread" near the top left side... hit that, then its like any other new reply :D

    hope this helps

  10. I believe Im running rich, I can watch gas drip out of my exhaust at idle every couple seconds. Ask GeneralDisorder about the Jets on NED he installed the weber and tuned it when he owned the car
  11. Eventually Ill be running 215/45/16s and Ive heard it wont rub, but have no experience in 215s

  12. Never had a problem... I ran 195/60/15s and went offroad with them, still didnt rub except when I went over a bump really hard.

  13. Ive got an EA82 alternator here, works great. If you dont find a complete motor let me know and I can ship this that way (offer + shipping)

  14. Depends on its tune, jetting and your right foot. I can go 208 miles on a tank in town hammering the accelerator every chance I get... I also ran a friend around the oregon coast. Total of over 800 miles... two tanks (mostly highway) This is on my EA82 sedan with 32/36DGEV
  15. Thanks guys! It just needs a reseal. Theres so much oil leaking out, especially out of the rear main that the clutch is soaked and not able to function correctly... its an... interesting driver to say the least haha.
  16. Its an early Loyale, 1986 GL sedan.

Im running 175/70/13s now, but I usually run 185/70/13s.

  17. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=115825 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74203 Best thing I can offer is the search button... Search EA81, EA81 motor, EA81 engine, etc... Read some build threads of BRATs... Good cars, not for the tall people but I dont have that issue, Id like a BRAT someday. Did you know that BRAT is an acronym? Bi-Drive Recreational All-Terrain Transporter
  18. FROWN!? The EA81 is an incredible motor. Arguably the 2 best motors Subaru made was the 1990-1994 EJ22 and the EA81 Agree with Woods, weber swap it or talk to GeneralDisorder, he SPFI swapped his EA81 wagon and also EA82 SPFI swapped a Brat
  19. I havent gotten around to resealing the EJ22 in my sisters 1990 Legacy, but I have to start since were passing it on to another family member in about a month... Its been sitting since mid February after it dumped a grand total of 6qts of 10w/30 from Hillsboro OR to Great Wolf Lodge in Washington and back... grand total of 245 miles. Used just over half a tank though, not bad Questions: With just under half a tank left of fuel.. Im gonna put the tires (flats getting fixed) back on and move it out of the garage for a bit... Do I need to/Should I drain the fuel out or is 3 months still decent gas? Its been started a few times to make sure the battery isnt dead... At what age should I change the fuel out (for future reference) if its been just sitting? Is it safe to pump it through the fuel line to drain it? Should I then run a system cleaner through it when I fill it?
  20. Nice! I miss my subs most of the time. I had a 1000W phoenix gold amp and 2 RF punchs (10"s) and I loved it... Next BIG sound system I put in, Im getting new seals so I dont sound like the honda civics that rattle everywhere.
  21. Whoo hoo I like this section! Purpose built for Members Rides and the mods done. Now (although slow) I can start modding Ned and doing improvements or non-improvements as the case may be. Beware, PICTURES in the first few posts! This is Ned, I purchased him from GeneralDisorder with 164K: After the 2.5" Glasspack was installed (OBK25XT) I bought a set of 15" recessed Peugeot wheels: And still enjoyed the time offroad: Still did great in the snow with the D/R: Bought and installed some 6000K HIDs: Left my windows open and found my cat in approval of NED: Sold my peugeots Still had fun offroad: Found a local Subaru group to hang out with: Simple mod; painted my wiper arms: As he currently sits with the tinted tail-lights: There will be more to come! Have some modifications/additions coming up soon and hope to have quite a few things done/improved before WCSS14
  22. Nice, you have the 14" pugs already on there Its an EA81
  23. But is it a wagon, hatch, Brat? Could be an EA81 swapped EA82 or a hatch or Brat Wagons, sedans should be EA82 by 1986 here.
