  1. that looks like it will just slide into place. looks like it has a subaru kit on it already. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  2. good luck finding one in a junk yard. keep your eye out on the for sale forum. they pop up now and again. seem that the going price now is $150-$200, and as they get more rare that price will keep going up... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  3. here is a pic of my wagon with the front air dam and the side skirts. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  4. i have done a few small things like new up pipe, 3" bellmouth Downpipe, and full 3" exhaust, no cats. i have installed a TurboXS MBC ay stock boost. O-Yeah i also have a huge tach. and thats about it... and i dont know if it makes a differance but i have 4.111:1 trany insted of their 3.9:1 trany. according to this sight http://www.catherineandken.co.uk/sti my car is a V-limited WRX. (EJ20G with the same trany # as the 555 car and V2 STI.) now what dose that mean? i have no idea. but maybe i have a little more HP. or maybe the engine on www.funonwheels.net was from a WRX wagon witch only had 240HP insted of 260 or 275. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  5. well i did it. took the wagon to KAS on their dyno day and put down some #'s. lots of people were not happy with their #'s thought they should be a bit higher, but O-well. now that i have had it on a dyno i can say that i have more power than a 2006 WRX. this is a shot of the board. this is a 2006 WRX, i did not see it run so i dont know if it was stock or not. 180.2HP here we have a 2002 WRX, again i did not see it run but was told by more than one person that the owner clamed to be running Stage II COBB kit 194.7HP and my numbers came back at: 201.8HP @ 6043RPM 204.2TQ @ 4885RPM here is my chart: you can see by the AFR #'s that my IC was a bit heat soked. time for a front mount... i was the only non STI subaru to put down more than 200HP, not by much but i did do it, and that was my goal. -=Suberdave-= www.suberdave.com
  6. ok time for some questions so we can get to the bottom of this. first off what happened when the car stoped running? were you driveing it? did you park it for the night then it didnt start in the morning? did you just install something and now it wont start? if you truly do have fuel, fire and compression you should have a running engine. i guess the only other thing you need is air. have you tryed pushing the acc pedal down a little. maybe the IAC is stuck shut... double check fuel... just because the fuel pump runns dose not mean you have fuel. you could try just a small shot of starting fluid in the T/B. double check spark... make sure its blue not red or orange. a week spark will not do the trick. and use a compression gauge to check compression. just a few things to try. start with the basics. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  7. i made it out to KAS with my EJ20G swaped 88 GL10, i was the only non STI subaru to put down 200+ HP finale #'s 201.8 HP @ 6043RPM / 93MPH 204.2 TQ @ 4885 RPM / 75.9MPH -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  8. wont fit. i tryed it with a chevy rim. and i think the ford patern is the same... -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  9. here you go, i did not make it. i found it on the board. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com

  11. i must say that will be one sweet ride. i have the spider intake you need for that beast, i was going to use it on my setup but went EJ insted. polished and clear coted spider all the black has been repainted glossy black as seen in later pics. fitted with GM Ecotech 2.2L TB W/ IAC & TPS and wiring harness. here is the spacer/adapter PM me if interested. -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com/subaru
  12. when your ready to do this, shoot me a PM. i have done 2 EA82t to EJ20G conversions now. one wagon and one coupe. that engine was built to go in an EA8 body car. fits like a glove. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com/subaru
  13. wateing for pics... need to see pics... come on with the pics already... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  14. i have done 2 WRX swaps now in EA82 body cars. i know its different, but lots of it will be the same. if you have any questions shoot me a PM or Email... -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com

  16. i think she did alright, maybe a litttle susp. work and some nice tires and i think she would be a pretty nice rally X car. and maybe i could use a few lessons also... -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  17. new way to look at my pics. and you can download any of them you want in good quality... over 200 pics http://suberdave.smugmug.com/gallery/1845322 -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  18. where is "The ORV park" -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  19. when i did my engine / trany swap into my wagon. i had the same problem, whoever had the car before me put one of those clips on the VSS wire to tap into it for something... well long story short, it broke the wire inside the plastic and through a VSS code, and would not rev up. once that was fixed it runs like a dream now. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  20. ive got 28's on my lifted Turbo Wagon. if i were to do it again... i wouldnt... if you do dump the 3.7 trany and try to find a 3.9. the turbo has plenty of power on the street, but has no low end torque in the mud/hills. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
  21. has anyone tried just pulling the cups off of a 23 spline axel and putting it on the XT6 axel? thats all i had to do on the RX swap on the rear. i just put the WRX inner cups on the GL axels. -=Suberdave=-
  22. sorry only thumbnails for now. but ill get the full sized img's up soon http://www.suberdave.com/subaru/WCSS8/ -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com
  23. super easy swap, other than the wiring. that in itself could take a week or so. the whole wiring harness will need to be swaped out. -=Suberdave=- http://www.suberdave.com
