  1. There was similar L-series Leone wagon for sale couple years ago in germany. It was green and had that same bodykit as in that red sedan. I prefer the factory body kit but as tjani said those are super rare in here.
  2. That crack in there isn't a good thing. Probably let's exhaust gas flow trough it and as it's that bad probably coolant too. I would definitely replace that turbo if mine would be in that condition.
  3. It has to be that it wasn't installed on the factory because of not needed in these market. But good for me since I don't need to hassle with the egr now on then. I have to check on weekend if I had egr opened on my third gen cyl heads. If I remember correctly it does have egr in there as every else ea82 engine I have had before. Maybe I'll paint the heads and cam cases black and valve covers blue andleave the two stripes n theme silver. That should look okay and not too messy. I kind of like the contrast between that blue and silver on the small parts. Next part is to install some sort of fuel rails and some 370cc injectors to the manifold...
  4. Gave my engine instant +10 hp ! Nah. Just kidding. Cleaned the intake manifold and throttle body and gave them fresh coat of paint. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wzlyrqv6ghs1q51/2015-07-16%2019.42.50.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/dnu2wnx7v5oyopl/2015-07-16%2019.28.28.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/n9tagmcwth9nxzt/2015-07-16%2019.45.07.jpg?dl=0 ps: Now wondering how should I paint the heads, cam towers and valve covers that it won't look too messy with black engine block EDIT: Oh btw that intake manifold doesn't have egr port opened at all. There's the flange for it and even the tube that goes alongside the intake tubing, but it seems the ports for the egr to work has never been openedNot even the inside of the intake manifold is open. I can post some pics of that if someone is intrested. Is this common thing in these and what version might it be from if someone has info about them ?
  5. Nice to hear it's working again and nothing bigger happened to it (hopefully) !
  6. EA82T is a good engine if maintained like many other underrated engines. It ain't unreliable if maintained properly and have been kept oem specs. I've got nothing bad to say about these engines this far. Every time I've got some problems with them it's been about poor maintenance or too high expectations about the endurance of the engine when tuning.
  7. EJ20T or that EJ22. EJ18 is a downgrade compared to stock rx engine.
  8. Too expensive at the moment. Already have TMIC from -00 GT impreza mounted in there. Also it will probably get FMIC later on and with that original hood back.
  9. Well why not then ? I've got a replacement hood for this so it won't ruin it forever.
  10. Yes I was thinking of using rivet nut inserts that has thread in them on the bonnet and screws with washers to fix the scoop in its place. This way the scoop is easily removable and the bonnet has strong mounting points in it. This way there is no need to fight with bolts on downside of the hood. But I have a lot of time to think how I will fit it really.
  11. Thanks for the opinion ! On it goes then. This one is made out of ABS and I payed under 15€ delivered. It seems to be sturdy enough to handle the stress it gets in there. I already modded it to have more opening in front so it can flow more air trough it. I will probably attach it with rivets (maybe rivet nuts) and with the supplied sticky tape in there already. I'll cut the hood under it to direct air to my intercooler before putting it on. It looked like this when it arrived: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA==/z/3bwAAOSwnDZT~v1D/$_57.JPG
  12. Yes or No for this hood scoop (obviously it will be functional too) ? https://www.dropbox.com/s/jzp8k5h6oewsxua/2015-07-04%2014.33.56.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/7iesvnw351awwi9/2015-07-04%2014.33.45.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/40jlboapxnl1a9f/2015-07-04%2014.34.06.jpg?dl=0
  13. I remember habing a switch there for summer/winter position so probably he has it too. Pretty good help on wintertime.
  14. Crankshaft front seal or camshaft seals tend to put oil everywhere if leaking badly.
  15. Whoops had to check that to be sure mine is JF1AK7 bug yeah you get the point that K should be N but mine has this code stamped to the body too.
  16. That vin number resembles my raised roof touring wagon my90 leone. It also starts with the same JF2AK but is bit different after that. I have always wondered howcome it does not match with subaru vin decoders
  17. There is one extra port in the oil pump. the bigger thread insert in there is for oem oil pressure sender unit and there is second smaller threaded place right under it.
  18. There is also a possibility that it is just condensed water. Gearbox oils tend to draw water from the humidity of air. There is also the possibility that the motul oil that you have used had some water contaminant in it already somehow. I don't remember if there is a breather in the transmission itself since that could be one place too. But really only way to find out how the water has got into the system is to do a full checkup for the gearbox. If it would have been there for long I think the oil should have turned milky like the engine oil when water/coolant leak is leaking to the oil system. Hope you can find the problem and that it's not anything major to fix.
  19. Trip is done already. It came nicely all the way even it had almost 450kg weight in the trailer and some 150kg more in the trunk. Had to use fourth gear pretty much but otherwise no problems even in the steep hills. So safe and sound where it should be
  20. Some hard.work ahead for the poor old ea71 engine in this: https://goo.gl/photos/qPD1iP3aX2cjc75u5 Over 300 km trip ahead closer to my home so I can finally start doing something to this car.
  21. Oh and some more: _____ TK2 |EA82| : https://www.dropbox.com/s/rewdulsewq1hicy/2015-06-13%2022.57.15.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/c4tn2v8v2sd0amk/2015-06-13%2022.55.55.jpg?dl=0
  22. Found a set of TK8 heads without underlining or box in the EA82: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rd09sxqpf0n9v75/2015-06-13%2020.52.42.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/gbb5t2yyeu4atuf/2015-06-13%2020.52.51.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fwcie1s4qxmr6po/2015-06-13%2020.53.04.jpg?dl=0
  23. But some of those boxes has lockable center differential so it will act like AWD. I myself have one of those fulltime 4wd gearboxes with pneumatically lockable center diff. It also has HI and LO ratios. It should have the same internals as the newer subaru boxes but with different tail ratios. Seems to be pretty rare nowdays these fulltime boxes.
  24. If you mean the third gen 2 doord cars I do have center locking in my -88 coupe. Basicly every GL and up versions have them in here.
  25. Oil cooler can also help to cool engine down. There is OEM kit with thermo switch available but seems to be pretty hard to find. Any good quality aftermarket cooler will do also, but they cool oil continuously that isn't probably a problem in higher temperature locations.
