check if the cigar lighter is working, if its not, chances are its the 15amp fuse that is located in the drivers side foot well under your dashboard, i think its like the third fuse, check the cover.

ok, i tried to pull the switch in every direction and no luck. i dont think its the combination switch cause when i turn on the high lights, the headlights dont work but the blue high light indicator does turn on, does anyone know how to test relays? i do have a fluke VOM, so i can check out whatever is neccesary. thanks guys!

i just got the car not too long ago, heres what i have done to it: new battery new battery positive terminal new belts (which are tight and not squeeling, checked again today) oil change with filter differential service (it was doing it before the service) air filter spark plugs mid pipe for exhaust headlamp bulbs steering rack boots front and rear brakes pads and rotors the car is a 95 impreza L 2wd automatic, it is supposed to have an ej18 and has an ej22 in it. it stalls with or without the a/c on when i am at a drive thru, i can here like a squeeling type noise when i have my foot on the brake and the car in drive, when i put the car in neutral, it goes away. also, when the car is in drive and my foot is on the brake, there is alot of vibration from the engine bay. any ideas? thanks in advance guys!

ive got a 95 impreza L 2wd that is giving me the wierdest problems. I likes to shut off while in reverse. It will almost always do it. weather its warmed up or not, weather i accelerate hard or not, weather the a/c is on or not. I dont get it, any ideas? there is no MIL light on a/c compressor does turn on and off whenever it wants, not sure if thats related when im stopped with my foot on the break pedal, there is a mid-high squeeling noise from the transmission, if i put the car in neutral, it goes away, any idea?

i have it in the coldest setting, ive tried it in every setting trying to see if it stops and it is still doing it. i checked the freon, its right where it needs to be. i live in whitehall,pa not WV, but thanks for the offer to help me. any other ideas?

after i run the a/c for about 5 mins, it will kick on and off every 30-45 secs from there on after. i dont think thats a safety feature.

i have a 95 impreza L, the high lights do not work, i had a spare set of bulbs, replaced them, and still no go. I checked all the fuses and relays, they all seem to be ok, any ideas?

i have a 95 impreza L 2wd with a 2.2L. I just got the car, and one thing that drives me crazy is that the a/c turns on and off while you are driving or idling, makes no difference. I checked the freon and thats up to specs. I dont know where else to turn, any ideas? sometimes it happens while im slowing down and the car shuts off on my cause i guess it cant handle the load. thanks in advance guys
