I recently bought an alternator for my 81 brat at O'Reillys new for $40 you should be able to get an original cheaper than $80 if thats the route you decide to go

where did you find those rear coilovers I've been looking for something like that and haven't been able to find anything that would work

What size tires are on the pugs? I just got some 14s and am looking at what size tire i can run.

Do you know where that brat came from I am almost positive that it is one that I sold to a guy in New York about a year ago. If you could take pics of the interior I would be able to identify it also.

Hi, Been reading on this site for awhile now never introduced myself so here it is. I just moved to Reno, Nevada to study mechanical engineering at UNR. This is my daily driver a 1981 brat been working on it for 3 years now done most of the work myself. Closest thing I have to a before pic but I've already done some work here including bumpers and getting it driveable After this there was lots of rust I repaired and had a friend paint it for me. Here it is at a car show where I got 3rd place people's choice Then I wrecked it the day after the car show. A pic after i started repairing the damage. This time i decided to paint it myself and here it is now being driven everday with some light trail wheeling. That's where it is now future plans include an lsd and rear disc which i already have and maybe a weber.
