  1. i'm still looking to change out these seats of mine.
  2. hi,

sorry for the late reply here... no i never did find anything for it. just got mine back on the road today. looking on here for seat swap info. mine are done.

  3. Was reading your thread about the ea-82 (carb) not idling when cold. It sounds just like my '87 GL and was wondering if you had corrected the problem? If so I'd like to hear what you did. Thanks!

  4. will Justy seats fit a GL10? the justy is about a 92 i think 4wd, auto, 4door.
  5. thx GD, i'm hopefully bleeding brakes and installing a block heater in the next couple of weeks, then i'll be looking more into this carb issue. not entirely needed now but it's no fun working in the freezing temps.... nice to tackle these things in the nicer weather.
  6. thx... i've heard from another friend about the e-choke. it probably is that. never rebuilt a carb before. are there any schemats of the assembly? pic of it?
  7. well i have read a few other threads on here about some issues with these carbs and their electric choke. so when i start this engine when cold i need to continually pump the accelerator to keep it running. it will never idle at a high rpm so as soon as i let my foot off the pedal it will die... until it gets warm and then things are just fine with it. is there a way i can test the choke system? is it most likely the problem? thx
  8. subscribed... i have a GL10 EA82 86 and really need something done with the drivers seat. hoping that i can find another one around.
  9. well, i'm pretty new to this site and have just finished pulling the engine and am replacing the Clutch Lever... old one completely cracked!! so cruising this site there is a tonne of info on here... what a great place! i really want to keep this GL 10 4x4 1986 running for winter use and it is exceptional for that. the problem i had in the winter was keeping the car running while cold. it's VERY difficult to start when she is cold, -5c and below. how do these carbs work??? is there a sensor that auto closes for choke function? any suggestions would be awesome so i can get it repaired before the cold comes again! thanks... i'll keep cruising and reading:)
  10. on the parts listings pdf that i found on this site it doesn't differentiate between 2wd and 4wd? just 78-82 and 83 -
  11. thanks for the help... we did think about welding but are unsure about the type of metal they used? would it become more brittle afterwards? definitely a consideration if we can't track one down. can i post some pics on here? i can show you what i mean. i think they are different now that i'm looking at the parts guides, etc.
  12. hi, first time posting here... i have a 1986 GL10 4x4 wagon EA82 and have pulled the engine due to a broken clutch lever arm. Does anyone have the part number or if these are the same as the ones found in previous EA81 models? this doesn't have any hill-assist, just the standard clutch-cable attachment. this was getting worse over time and finally became unshiftable.... i was quite suprised to see the shape of that lever. cracked all around the centre. i sure hope i can find another one of these. if anyone has suggestions of a source in canada, please let me know. clutch, plate and bearings look in great shape! .... edit... may have found the part number ??? #30531-AA090 Lever Clutch Rel
