Rarest Old-School Subaru Part or Option?
pickstock replied to Loyale 2.7 Turbo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
this one coxy =P yeah the rallies we do now are based on the sothern cross, (dad did it a couple of times) instead of stages its navigational. 300 km of competition for 100$A rather than the ones my brother does 500km transport, 200km competition and a cost of 1500$A at least this gives us a lead, because we were told it was Aus and NZ when i chased them i was told they didnt exist and the set that did was destroyed. -
thats just it, ive searched everywhere and only found that single one been built, and now with that photo there's 2. but theres nothing anywhere
-
where did you find this information? the only place ive heard of this stems from this board, ive talked to people about it and they say it was never sold and only one was made.

sorry about the failed first post hahah yeah thats the magazine i want to read but cant find a scan of it and im not going to pay 10 dollars plus probably 25 P+H to get it here for one article -
we were talking to a locker manufacturer here in australia, probably based in america though he would be happy to set the tooling up to make them that was not a problem, but we needed to sell 500 before he started and price would be atleast 1000$aus each i was recelty and still am when the time allowes at making a hydraulich lockker for the rear, using the power steering pump. and lastly i was thinking ofsomthing like the last few posts about disabling one driveshaft, maybe modifying the hub so that the driveshaft can be pull out through it and it stopping just as the inner spline came out by removing it or somthing like that.... yeah its all up here hahah
-
yeah weve looked into them and its possible but more work we want to get them as a package and just throw them to somone also im not sure about the spline count. or we might try and get one sent over, just the shafts and see if somone here can copy them
