Rick is good. He'll tell your friend what needs to be done, and your friend will probably listen to him. Sometimes people need to hear it from more than one person... I know I've been in that situation more than once. Had a friend wanted me to replace his clutch for him, but just the clutch disc. He wasn't going to get a new PP or surface the FW. And WOULD NOT hear me it had to be done, finally someone else told him and he went out and bought parts.

I'll give friends who need a hand help with oil changes and silly easy things like that. But I only have a couple friends I'd do an entire swap for free... That's a lot of work. It's ridiculous if he expects you to do it for free.

If I buy the wheels too I'll have him keep the tires mounted so I don't have to pay the $40... I don't need to turn into another wheel whore. hahaha

I'm getting mine off a very nice member of a local forum.

Craigslist/local forum for tires!! I just scored a set of 85% winterforces for $100. Go to a reputable shop for an alignment, shouldn't be more than $75 or so. I need an alignment too, and to have my tires mounted, so I'm looking at about $205 for tho whole dealy. Heck of a lot better than 600!!! Shop around man

I wish I could give you all some of my snow.... I've plowed snow opening the door on my lifted GL way to many mornings this winter.

Really bad MPG (or so I think)

The chain to the pedals works just the same as a normal bike. Which, is basically what it is. The chain to the engine always turns if the bike is moving. I've since blown that engine and am working on a new one, but I got a good 4k miles or so out of it before I killed it. -

Just a normal wheel. The chain from the engine goes into the other side of the back wheel. Just a sprocket bolted on. -
