  1. i will enjoy seeing this in person. ski team ftw! question: was that a paint job you could actually buy from the factory? or was it only issued to ski team?
  2. that Ski Team car is pretty sweet. i bet its the same one that was for sale in racine with 3 others as a package however many months ago that was.
  3. HA! dude that exhaust stack is the ************! love it! i bet its great when ya seafoam it.
  4. HA! dude that exhaust stack is the ************! love it!
  5. x2. i wish i had the ability to have another car, i'd totally consider lifting a xt. would have to be a big lift tho. due to the short body height! by the way, nice post in that for sale thread, lol. sometimes the truth hurts.
  6. you are not alone. for me it typically comes in 3's not only car related tho. one nice below zero winter friday night a few years ago, my wifes fuel lines and pump (too low on gas, damn women), so we had the car towed, got home to find out our furnace went out, and then paid $500 for a saturday emergency call/repair which the guy said "you still need a new furnace but this will work for now" I cant remember the last thing, but i was so pissed off that weekend. all that crap ended up costing us like $1500 it was lame.
  7. <<--- Guilty! but since we are now a seatbelt law state, atleast i dont have to worry bout getting pulled over for not having a seatbelt on. i can only imagine how ************ed one would get in a collision with just the shoulder belt on tho..
  8. i always love the pic of this one with the filter stickin out the hole.
  9. yeah, i seen all that goodness. good info site....
  10. yeah, i just hope the bolts and crap come apart with less effort, im trying to wait till its a little warmer out. i was gonna space them down, in general just to keep the bushing lasting longer. plus, lowering it should technically push the wheel forward minimally. i like bills control arms with the diamond plate welded on to them, making it one large control arm.
  11. i dunno, rear doors dont really count much as i dont really have seats back there. LOL. oh i just heard that someone took a dump on the escalator at work. bahaha. thats awesome. we'll see if i get to that project, replacing the radius rod bushings is more important at the moment, ************s loose as hell!
  12. well. i didnt paint the whole car because the paint was actually good. LOL. partially defined as purpose built machine, my purpose doesnt need random reflectors on the bumper, or a yellow spinning light. But i DO have a working PA system i do still want to do some diamond plate door card inserts tho. however, that ************s spendy.
  13. what'd i do wrong? other than switchin up the color scheme?
  14. ji know im late in the debate so just throwing it out there too since i've had a boner for that bumper since day one i seen it. id trade up my bumpers for the one on that thing, my stock one and the spare i have (just the metal, no bumper cover on the spare) i'll even toss in an ea82 motor thats sitting in my garage that i dont need/want anymore. (and no shipping necessary.. )
  15. i should have said, people that drive a certain car just because it goes from here to there, not because its a subaru. etc
  16. wait.. its not? crikey. being as odd to see as they are, the rare times i do see an old soob rolling down the street by a total NON soob type person, i always wonder.. how the heck did they end up with it.
  17. it'll fit but you have to cut out some of the upper radiator support from what i've read. you could just have a radiator shop cut off there bungs and weld the larger bungs on the radiator. i'm gonna go that route when i get the chance, and when they are in there, i'm gonna have the lower radiator hose bung flipped 180degrees
  18. clifs notes: Fox picked up the legacy ob from tom, toms pickin up a GL10 from Duluth, the same one that waterford jon bought from NC, with the sweet rump roast front bumper. cept now the ej swap is done.
  19. lol. mine is about 1/4" up from the bottom line, due to the resistor grounding thru the wire on the gauge wire. its a little higher if it gets hot and the fan actually turns on. sometimes i have to test the relay to be sure its working, fan never runs in the cold weather (comes on when the engine hits like 203 deg or something. one time the connector fell and grounded out the opposite side of the resistor, the gauge was pegged on top. i nearly ************, LOL:drunk:
