prices for an xt6????
operose replied to offroadsubaruguy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
paid $500 for two, $200 for one. the $200 one was complete but had been sideswiped in '91 and sat in a junkyard letting the floorboards rot out the first $500 one had "some" rust that I repaired second $500 one had a blown front diff so I swapped the transmission with the one from the $200 junkyard car not sure this helps, but maybe? -

never worked on a car that you could get a byb lift for ( ) but perhaps they mean the "pitch stopper" ? might look kinda like this but less cool because it's not STi should connect to a bracket on your engine and your firewall, or if it's the forward one, your engine and your radiator support, if I'm remembering correctly which I might not be

I had a thule roof rack on my legacy wagon.. so I took a heavy duty sign post drilled out the holes a bit cut it to length mounted 4 lights on it "quick-mounted" it to the roof rack by drilling holes through the crossbar and putting some bolts with wing-nuts through wish I had some pics so it made more sense

I'm sure that if they work well, can handle abuse, and can be produced cheaply... that people around here would buy them -
that always happens to you I'm worried about my hood doing the same thing, as it doesn't always latch properly, and one side doesn't sit right... guess I'll have to take a look

operose replied to kayakertom's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
admittedly, I did the same thing with my first rear main... it went in too far, but it didn't look like it would hurt anything, and I really needed to get the car back together so I left it that way.... no issues so far -
check out the home shop machinist bbs... and http://www.metalillness.com ... there are a few others I'll remember in a bit, but there are various people that have built various coolers for their tig torches
