  1. My toy scout, or real scout?:
  2. The weekend of the 16th works better for me too. I'm going to be doing some camping this coming weekend (the 9th/10th) and then me too camping memorial day weekend. So yeah, I'm down. I need another LSD.
  3. Thanks for the input. I didn't realize they were longer. What were xt6 axles?
  4. I'm swapping a FT4WD transmission into a Brat and was wondering on the axles. Are ea82T axles 25 spline inner/outer or 25 spline inner 23 spline outer? I figured I'd just swap out the turbo hubs and be good to go right? I am going to keep the suspension stock for now, but in the future possibly the 5 lug setup. And what are xt6 axles? 25 spline inner/outer?
  5. Yeah parts suck. I am having trouble finding the simplest things, like seatbelts, visors, and other trim pieces for mine. I could buy them new, but then they're expensive. I like the cool factor of it being a Right Hand Drive though. I get SO many funny looks when driving it.
  6. Two more up above my house:
  7. So I took the scout to the moonrocks this weekend. Had fun, definitely having to start a build on the scout to get where I want. I got soem nevada pinstriping and will get those pics up soon, but here's a few:
  8. First off, there's a writeup of the ej22 swap into your loyale. Find it here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69741 I am not sure on the AWD tranny from the legacy and how it would fit but a custom Xmember seems like it would be needed. Otherwise the only other AWd tranny is from the 87-89 RX's that had the full time 4wd with the center diff lock. To swap one of those in you would want to contack Bratsrus1 and get his 5speed conversion kit. Its TOTALLY worth it, making the 5 speed bolt rite up. The RX tranny uses 25 spline axles, so if using stock suspension, you'd need a custom axle with a 23 spline inner and a 25 spline outer. If you want to do the 5 lug conversion at the same time here's the link: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50400 I had a bracket made for the ea82/5speed rear driveshaft that bolts to the floorboard underneath the seats. Thats a start I hope it helps.
  9. Saw one on pirate that had a 10.34 low:eek: Was like 2700$ Yipes.
  10. When done this rig will be absolutely AMAZING. It already looks uber nice. Good job, keep it up.
  11. My disty went out on the gen 1 and I have a spare from an 83. I am not sure whaich brand the one is in the 81, the replacement is a hitachi I believe. Do they swap out or do I need to replace with the same brand? Will the one from the 83 fit in the gen 1's ea81? Thanks.
  12. Yeah I have a few. Hold on.

  13. Ok, I'll play along. This is the best pic I have at the moment of me. And the most recent: And no, I'm not mad that I'm in a scout, I wasn't aware I was having my photo taken right there. I love scouts, and am in the process of building one right now.
  14. When pulling the 5 lug bits, there's one part that was confusing me at the yard. The part that is at the bottom of the strut. that actually bolts it to the knuckle. Does it come off the strut, or is it part of the strut itself? It also holds the brake line to the strut.
  15. Its still up in the air. I've been busy with everything else. And Yeah we met up.
  16. Hey I got those rear discs, I have to box them and see about shipping. Whats your zipcode?

  17. Ok So anyway, I didn't get to PnP today and won't tomorrow, I'll be out wheelin, but I DO plan on being there early sunday morning. So just give me a call and or look for me underneath some kind of subaru. See you guys sunday!
  18. Yeah as soon as the weather warms up I can do some research. I have both a gen 1 Brat without an engine in it and I also have an ea81 wagon with power steering as well, so I'm going to remove both x-members and do some measuring.
  19. Ya know, I remember quite a few instances in which brian or anyone else could keep up with me when we were out wheelin. I remember getting up a few hills and such that nobody else made, so I feel safe tagging along.
  20. Yeah I was thinking the rears wouldn't be too much of a hassle, but I haven't looked at the differences in the front yet. There's an xt6 at the junkyard and I'm thinking of grabbing the 5 lug stuff from it to test it out.
  21. Ok, Dave, Greenley, give me a call this weekend. I'd like to hook up even for lunch or somethin. 775-219-6443
  22. The lights DO make it look a teeny weeny bit goofy, but it still does look nice. Get it runnin and get it up here. You DO know I have a Brat parts yard up here right?
  23. Thats where my tax refund is going towards. It doesn't need much, I've just been busy keeping the bills paid, but I finally get a break with my tax return so, yeah.
