Pull the axle, and pull the retaining ring on the DOJ, slid the cup off...Grab a punch hit the cage remove six bearings one at a time. Remove C-clip from end of axle at splines. Tap off star looking thingie. Slide off old boot. Slide on new boot and clamp (or use zip ties) slide on star thingie replace C-clip. Reinstall cage (like how is was not backward) tap bearings in from windows in cage. Slide on Cup (add greese supplied), Put Retaining ring back in. Slide on boot and secure. reinstall axle. Done!

Its like a regular ol' Kenworth Long Logger -Caleb oh, and installed CB!!!!! yeah! now i'm ready for some trail runs.

  16. You could post it in the For Sale section. :-p
  17. I just saw that! did you ever have heat from your heater? You're car should not get hot without a thermostat. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure.
  18. Put a new thermostat there man. They are cheap like 10 bucks, and get a gasket while your there. RTV is great, but as GD says you have to use the right amount or you'll be F-ed.. You'll be into the fix for like 15 bucks and about 20 mins of work...well not work, but busyness. (that can't be a word)
  19. "Grassroots Motorsports" I believe is what it's called, it's a magazine. They do a thing called the $2000 rally challenge, it's a great read. Look it up sometime. Lots of old beaters just getting the piss beat out of them on a small budget. And I am with 3 eye, EA81 motor..then stuff it in, and "race" at 85 mph all day!
