  1. That's what I thought. But out of curiosity, how does the air suspension work? Is it automatic? or is it a manual external fill? can the air struts go into a loyale knuckle? or are they completely different?
  2. Ohh, i was told it has air shocks. But those also have a spring on them, I was just wondering if anyone has the dimensions/sizes of a turbo gl front spring?

  5. The springs have been cut, and I want to put it back to normal height. A lot of the parts stores said they couldn't even get it.
  6. In my local classifieds there is a part out of a 94 legacy, are those springs the same?
  7. I'm looking for some coil springs for my 94 loyale 4wd (drivers front) and can't seem to find anywhere that sold them. I've been looking for new ones, since most junkyards in my area are closed saturday and sunday. Is there any other springs, or cars that have the same/similar spring? Or somewhere that will have the spring I need?
  8. I completely understand that. I have actually been looking into version 4 ej20t motors, and swaps for my loyale. I'd like to make a rwd drift car out of it. Although cool, that looks to be a very expensive and tough swap.
  9. Okay, thanks. Yeah I am a volkswagen enthusiast, and I have my loayle as my DD/winter car. Its quite a bit different then my mk3, but also much more reliable. I'm currently building a mk3 vr6 cabrio. Here's an old car for refrence: 1984 jetta coupe mildly "built" motor with a t3/t4 57 trim 63 a/r... oh, and it was diesel!

  11. one last question, is it easier to attach the axle to the trans. first or the hub first? to put it back together.
  12. I'm assuming the knuckle is the part with the bearings in it. The knuckle is attached to the strut, I forgot to mention that. So if I attach that to the ball joint and put the hub on (with the axle) then I should be able to roll it? assuming that it will steer straight. I actually just have to push it up the trailer ramps. why does the axle have to be in the knuckle to attach the hub? sorry if some of these are repetitive or dumb questions.
  13. So, I have a partially taken apart 1994 loyale and I need to get it on my trailer to move it from one garage to another. My question is this: Can I connect my strut to the "strut cap" (in the engine bay) and to the ball joint on the "a-arm" and still be able to attach my hub to get a wheel on, to have it roll 50 feet on to a trailer? Do I need to have my caliper, rotor, axle and everything connected? It also doesn't have the tie rods, or anything on the drivers front side. I'm just looking for easiest way with the least amount of work to roll it onto the trailer. (the words I put " " around are because I do not know their proper title, this is just what I call them)

  15. where can I get these headgaskets? I have a great workspace, and tons of great air tools.
  16. I'm relatively new to subaru's. I have a blown headgasket(s) in my loyale, and to change it, is it necessary to pull the motor? or is it easier? and where is the best place to buy this head gasket? also, so I can utilize one thread... My drivers side front hub stripped out, meaning the splines on it went completely smooth, but my axle is fine, by some weird reason. where is a place I can buy this hub? no auto parts stores seem to recognize my car as having a "hub". which it clearly does.
