Well i really appreciate everything this forum has provided as it got my brat running! Runs great just needs to be timed and should be great. however it won't stay alive long enough to get warmed up to time it. The issue I have is the ignition fuse. I have a 15A in it, and it will start right up. however after about a min or so...you can see the fuse burning up then pow fuse gone...and the car stumbles and dies...
I have been looking at the wiring diagrams, check for shorts, and just don't see what could keep causing this. And for reference this is the fuse with black to blue-white wire, that comes from the ignition switch. Everything else seems good, anyone have any pointers?
Btw it a 81' Brat GL EA81 with hitachi coil and disty...
Just also found out, doesn't even matter if the car is running. If the switch is on then the fuse blows shortly there-after. Must be a short somewhere, but I'm lost as to where to start looking...
