  1. What? I thought clunking noises on a subaru is normal... lol I have cheap cv's on my car with no problems yet. Definitely better then the old worn ou ones I had on it before. My car is lifted 2" so the drivelines are at kind of crazy angles and they still dont make too much noise. Now other suspension components make noise in my car, Its definitely worth crawling under there to look for worn out bushings or rubber mounts to replace. It would sure help your car drive nicer. Good luck!
  2. If I can somehow fix the front camber issue and get some new front tires, i'll definitely be up for some wheelin!
  3. Sorry, dont get on here much anymore either lol. I would be interested but like eulogious Im booked for a little while, and my subi needs some new tires before any serious offloading can occur.

  4. hey. hows it going, im kinda local... anyway i was wondering if you or any other forum members wana try meet up at effendal pass in tahuya o.r.v. over the weekend?

  5. This very well could be. It seems to run rich and get less then average fuel mileage. I will hook it up to a scan tool and see what that tells me.
  6. I have a ej22 in my 92 loyale. It runs good other then it idles really high. It usually idles between 1700-1900 all the time, from startup to fully warm. It was showing no codes before I started messing with it. When I unplug the IAC valve, the idle drops down to around 1100 but the engine starts to run really rough and it has a pretty bad dead spot. What would be the procedure to solve such a problem? I already checked for codes after, all it gave me was code 24 from when I unplugged the valve. Thanks for the help.
  7. One more quick question, does anyone know where I can get the solenoid contacts for the starter? Mine are worn out and need to be replaced. If anyone knows where to get them, or even just the size I need, that would be a big help. Its just a ea82 starter I believe. Thanks
  8. I fixed my control arm, radius bar, new balljoints, and new halfshafts. Now I just need to fix the camber. That is the exact problem, the control arm is at a bad angle and its seriously affecting camber. The tires on it are now unsafe to use, but I don't want to buy new ones until I fix the camber issue. Just curious how others have fixed it. I actually got the car from Scott, so I will send him a PM. He has been extremely informative for me in the past. As for the lift I believe its this http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=191&category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=100054. Thanks for the responses guys!
  9. I have a '92 loyale with a 2" SJR lift and EJ22 in it. It has a few problems, I broke a lower front control arm yesterday turning around and bumped a curb. Ok, it must have been cracked, but i'm wondering if there is a way to make the frontend stronger on these things. Also, my front wheels have MASSIVE positive camber. Its ridiculous and I cant afford to have another lift built for the car right now, not to mention replace the tires that are bald on the outside but brand new on inside. Heres a pic of the car, you cant really tell it has bad camber because of the broken control arm but you can see how the tire is worn. Maybe modify the strut tower? I dont know. Anyways, thanks guys.
  10. Some guy brought a jeep into a shop I was at that had the tube bumpers welded up and those were the air tanks. He said the ac pump is the compressor so it is possible. Another interesting idea they used to do back in the day. take a boxer 4 aircooled vw engine and turn two of the cylinders into air pumps that are powered by the other two. If your interested its the volks air kit by dunn right inc.
  11. No ideas on the struts? It needs them very bad and its my daily.
  12. Only thing left I have to do is temp gauge and oil light. I have a 270 ohm resistor, but dont know which wire is the correct one for the gauge. I have searched the internet and I couldnt find a diagram that tells what wire does what for a '92 loyale. Also, what kind of struts can I use for this thing? It needs new ones pretty bad, and im wondering if theres some struts other people prefer over just stock ones. Thanks
  13. I am missing the bushing for the radius arm on my '92 loyale. I am wondering what you guys have done to fix this as I cant find the part anywhere in town. I called 3 parts suppliers and none of them could get the part. Thanks
  14. It is definitely AWD. I stated its a auto in the first post. It has no fuse in the fwd holder, one of the first things I checked when I noticed the problem. I have had this car for maybe 6 months so its not real new to me. I don't think the awd ever worked since I got it, It just took until now to post about it. What exactly broke on your car? I did jack up the rear wheels to see if I could get them to spin, but that didn't work, ad I didn't know if that was a legitimate test for the awd.
