  2. I feel sorry for everyone who comes to this board to unload another HG problem. Does it make us feel better if I think, this isn't only a subaru issue......today, most or probably all makes build their engines blocks and heads on cast alluminum, and on a long run, it will hapen sonner or later
  3. I bought one at subaru, not expensive tough, and I think it's rated at 400-450 watts
  4. That's exactly what I'm shopping .......I just wonder if they last that long 80k miles??

  9. I have gone over 500k miles on my mercedes 300td.....and it's not more expensive to maintain. Any diesel engine of same displacement as gas is 30% more efficient.....so you should have a diesel . Even if I read horror stories about subs, I hope to reach 400k with my wagon....I start to enjoy driving her with time, and she drives like new after 3 years
  10. Rust check been around for quite longtime and it's a good product. "Crown" is higly recommended by the APA so it must be good. Since you gonna do it by Crown, can you tell us if they drill holes to apply it?
  11. a corner garage would have done better....hard to believe a job like that
  12. I intalled myself one (very easy to do) I think I paid $34 at the counter ..........you even have instructions
  13. I have a legacy on 16s too and was told from people on the board 15 my not fit cause of brake size . I don't know if forester will fit sorry I can't help you better
  14. I used to be concerned too, until I found out that not all ej25 engines are prone to HG failure.....if people would be more specific about the engine they have when they post HG failure other people like me (new to subaru) would understand that most failures are DOHC engines!
  15. That's what I'm afraid of.... the brakes. thanks for all replys
  16. I wonder if I could fit a 15 wheel on my 03 wagon SE . I think the SE shares the same suspension as the GT. so has somebody done it? going from a 16'' setup to a 15'' ? thanks
