It's a 03 legacy wagon 2.5 not even 3 years about 45k miles without any problems except for the wires....is this normal? if the dealer sells the exact same brand wich is "Packard" then I rather try some other brand. I had "packard" on other makes before and I didn't like their performance either. I don't know if I can buy your brand in canada!? thank you all -

Cookie do you happen to know which bank Subaru replaces with the improved part? I'm thinking the right side. I think the left hand side...the drivers side -

I read same statement somewhere -
if you don't drive hard, and you brakes are grabbing you should have higher than normal fuel consumption, also pay close attention when you drive on relative flat surfaces. bring it to neutral and pay close attention how long it goes until it stop. go on a parking lot atfer driving acouples miles and while on neutral try to push it. It should move if nothing is holding the car. good luck!

just cameback from route 66 round trip . it was some trip almost 10000 miles on bad roads dirt roads step mountains, and with over 1400lbs on board my legacy wagon se did it all flawless ............I even show how a subaru can handle on California route 1 on my way north to a fellow on these acuras with those noisy mufflers. I think he won't mess with a subaru for long time!

you people who don't live under these conditions have no idea of d the world we live in during winter months .....so in quebec we have same or worst wheather............ forget about cork gaskets......just clean up the oil left around and replace your swollen rubber gaskets and if you respray your ride again make sure the product is ok with the rubber on your car....for sure there are products out there that don't attack you rubber

A good diesel engine, is very reliable you can go a 1000,000km quite easy with normal maintenance and 40% better mileage when you compare to same displacement gas engine, and you can run them on almost anything even vegetable oil!!!! Do you think oil corp. going to like that??? That's why they're popular only on oil satarving countries

32k miles and check engine comes on, yet i don't notice anything wrong . I go to subaru after 10 minutes somebody tells me about some engine misfiring....i was really surprised, i never noticed any misfiring enven underload....well they keep looking and another 30 min. later: I was told everything is fine, the engine is perfect! Is it commun to get false cel????

Thanks for your answers, so far I have 51000km (about 32k miles) I ask this question because I bought this car new and she still drives like new. I do live in a area of 3 million people, and like I said up to now I did 80% of my driving in urban area, and of course I did it in a very sane way! By the way I like the way it feels on the road, except for the seats
