  1. I'm kinda in the same situation, I have a 1990 loyale turbo that got bump in the driver side, and messed up the ac condenser and radiator, I started ripping all the tap welds off and hopefully will be able to get another and weld it on?, I tried finding more people who have done this but cannot! more info would be SWEET! -Nomad
  2. I bought a bunch of parts from Mopar Mike, that dude knows all about subaru and has a badass collection for sure!

  3. haha, I bought my loyale in Sweet Home OR, it now resides in Boise Idaho though.... -Nomad
  4. I think it is something more like what Dan talking about, my steering wheel served as a punching bag one night after a casino run......I think maybe something under the rubber is bent now that think about it...I will investigate... -Nomad
  5. Should I disconnect the horn altogether?? or is that a easy fix? steering column sounds hard. haha -Nomad
  6. SOOO I get a knock on the door, ten minutes ago at 7 am and I open the door to hear beeeeeeeeeeeppppppppp, apparently when my car gets hella cold/frozen the horn sometimes stays locked on, beeeeeeeeeeepppppppppp, so I guess from 3am until apartment staff got to the office at 7am it was just going beeeeeeepppppppp, I got NO alarm system and to fix the problem I turned the streaing wheel and it finally stopped, but it didn't want to, I had to like find a sweet spot for the horn to stop honking......anybody have this issue, I believe a short in the wire somewhere on the actual steering wheel is where the issue is..... Or maybe I bought the only EA82 subaru alarm clock  -Nomad
  7. I'm having trouble gettting the new brake piston boot to fit, any tips? I got it in without the piston but once I try with t the piston I cant get it locked in the little groove.....any tips... Nomad

  10. Just got my boot repair kit for the caliper, I think I'm going to add another light coat then let dry, then REASSEMBLE!!!! I'm pretty stoked on rock auto too! THANKS for the recommendation. I oredered beck/arnley #071-7883 and it came with: 2 pistion seals 4 rubber grommets 4 bolt cover boots 2 brake valve covers 2 o rings 1 pack of grease (so enough for both sides) more pictures to come -Nomad
  11. I got hit by another person and all it did was break the back tail light (driver side) and rip the molding off the rear quarter panel.....went to get a quote for insurance, $999.92, I call the dude insurance and they had to come check on the damages, Which was barely some scuff marks and the broken light, they felt it was all the clients fault and did there own inspection, long story short...I got $750 for a broken light and molding, which cost me a total of $15 to totally fix......., That how I had money to buy my new project, the EA82T loyale........ Best of luck..... -Nomad
  12. mine boots where in Texas last night so hopefully they will be here either today or tomorrow, its getting freezing here too, I better call up my BEST FRIEND, you know the one..... WITH a garage -Nomad
  13. I used duplicolor caliper paint, it says it has ceramic in it to help the heat, says resistant to up to 500 degrees. I like the paint alot and highly recommend if powder coating is not available... I believe the can of paint cost $9.00 and there is enough paint to do all four calipers and then some....... -Nomad
  14. I used the dupli color brake caliper rattle can paint on my set, it was like 9 dollars, I bought 2 packs of extra fine steel wool and scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed them suckers then sprayed them with carb cleaner, let dry and rattle canned them. The picture above is only 1 coat but I think I'm adding another tomorrow...The paint is awesome so far, I love how bright red it is....more pictures to come when complete... -Nomad
  15. I ordered 2 sets and each 1 does the both sides, rock auto is a little weird at 1st but once you know how to use it, they have awesome prices!! I recommend them for sure... -Nomad
