Right on. I think there is a local company that specializes in tank and radiator cleaning. I’ll have to check them out. Ordered a fuel pump today. Just going through the little problems. Thanks for the help.

Hey Gents. Picked up this sweet little hatchback out of Roseburg last month. Working through some of the issues since it has been sitting on the same farm for a decade and only driven a dozen times. Right now I’m having problems with it not idling after warm up. Sometimes when driving, the car will die at a stop. Or if I take too long in between gears, the rpms just dive. Thinking fuel pump, any thoughts? I also need help find a few things, like a new mirror for the driver door. New window handle for passenger door. Maybe a new parking brake handle. Thanks for everything. I’ll be back on with future plans to this car, just trying to make it a good daily driver for now.

Having to replace my power steering pump. Again the light only comes on when not in motion and the flashing hasn't really happened but a handful of times since the start of this topic. It did come on and flash for a while and then go back off all while driving consistently on the highway

No it doesn't come on solid while driving. Usually just pulling up to a stop light. And haven't been able to get any codes pulled around town even with the AT temp light flashing. Any idea on what I need to get or where I need to go to get the codes as discussed?

Abs since I bought it. Think it's a wobbly rim on the rear left.

Also my FWD fuse is always in so that I can drive it.

Ok I'll take it to get any codes pulled. When I come up to a stop light, AT temp light comes on some/most time and is solid, occasionally it'll go to flashing and it doesn't stop until I turn off/on the engine. I haven't noticed a pattern in the flashing except a constant quick flashing. I'll check back tomorrow after work with the codes

The A/T temp light does flash but not at start up. Just got done flushing the tranny and it's good on fluid. I keep checking. No check engine light. Abs light though. Don't know any history of the car but the previous owner said he bought it from the original owner who took care of it 143xxx Supposedly water pump and timing belt at 100k

Yeah i am driving it still just in FWD, and it does ok. Also no the pan wasn't dented, and i took it off and replaced the internal filter and checked out the little sensor in there as well and it still actuates.

So I had to put my brat into the garage for now after the wreck. Got a quick loan and came across this '98 Forester L that wasn't in bad shape except for a few minor problems. It was in FWD with the bypass fuse, the problem was that it won't shift passed 2nd in the Auto trans. Tore apart the tail shaft and put in the gearing and clutches from a junker at pick n pull. Still no go on the awd over 2nd. I don't like the auto, it's my daily for work, and I'm just make it paycheck to paycheck with a bit of pocket change left over, so I don't have a lot of resources. I have a 1982 Subaru gl and I am just wondering what years are compatible for basically the whole driver side. Bumper, Fender, both doors and rear quarter panel. thanks for the help gents.

Honestly I don't even know where to look correctly. I did the google thing, fail. Didn't like any of them. Help me find front and rear offroad bumpers for my 2002 Subaru 2.5ts. Also looking for a snorkel kit, safari style utility rack, and bigger wheels at a decent price for when I do end up lifting it from sjr. Thanks for the help soob hounds.

Two things. 1 is the worst one. 1: I hear a hissing noise from my engine at least I'm sure that's where it is from. It's louder and longer with the higher rpms and quieter and shorter with the lower and pretty much random. I have no idea what it is 2: I need to know where I can get reliable cv axels for my 2002 impreza 2.5ts wagon. The right boot is torn and I figure I was gonna just replace the whole thing. And maybe both. Any help or tips for an army subie lover?
