Thanks and congrats. Washed up and going back into the garage.

Ha, I get way too much enjoyment just having the car and looking at it car parked in my driveway to sell it.

I had to repair this thread because Photobucket sucks. New Clutch Car was not driven much after the new clutch. I believe the ethanol blend gas went bad or there is gunk in the tank, so I need to remove the gas tank.

Love the wheels. I have similar looking wheels on my Legacy, but in a six spoke. Speedline magnesium

Thanks Bennie. Of course Russ. I'm in it for the long haul

I guess my plan is to get the other RX running just because, and to hoard parts.
-
Concerned with the rust in the rear lid, and availability of body parts, I jumped on an 87 RX in town for $500, engine was taken apart. And that is all I got for now, Think I am going to have to tear into it for some clutch work. I will try to get some better pics of the brakes.

Added some chickens for good measure

Found some 16x7 Enkei WRC Tarmac wheels

Why not get the mouse nest out of there from 4 years ago, and do the heater coil.

Getting the kinks worked out, had my Legacy's wheels on there. 16x7 Magnesium Speedline WRC Tarmac wheels from Japan.

I redid the strut setup and brakes several times, so I can't quite remember what I have on there, but.. Removed hill holder, added STI brake booster and master cylinder, and WRX proportioning valve, which required some custom brake line routing Drilled through floor to re-route e brake to rear, E brake handle from Honda CRV I think. I work at an auto wrecker, so i was just grabbing stuff that looked right. Did calipers and rotors as WRX fronts and LGT rears, then Re-did with WRX 4/2 pots all around, which required different rear backing plate. xt6 swaybars Had wrx struts/front knuckles in with lowering springs in the front, which required lots of smashing with a big mallet, and enlarging a couple holes. retained RX control arm with EA81 tie rod end Swapped in Forester front strut instead? cant remember, it was too low Got some Miata Koni's from work for the rear, NB front's I think?

Decided to do a 5 lug conversion for better braking, and tire options

Never really posted many pictures of my RX over the years. Got it back in 2004 for $1100. Threw in another EA8T pretty much right away. Added ceramic coated TWE exhuast/custom exhaust, superpro bushings all around Ran into Ron Sorems rally prepped RX put the hubcaps back on. Seen here at a Washington RX meet Hella fogs and Gold Enkeis Head problem again, slapped a Gen3 in there

That's really cool. If you are making extras or have CNC plans, I would be interested.

Um, WJM is no longer with us. This is a pretty old thread. Search his old threads for lots of good information

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with the EJ25D -
