  1. I don't really trust Maaco, but I'm glad they worked for you. I might try the prep work myself, and then I should be able to find someone that knows someone to do the rest.
  2. I'm thinking platinum silver metallic would look pretty sweet, like you would see on a wrx. A nice clean, sharp color, that's not too dark that the car "loses its lines" The rust just isn't doing it for me. If anyone feels like photochopping this for me feel free:brow:. comments?
  3. lol..that's funny. I once had a landlord that would walk into our house without any notice ( 2knocksdosen'tcount)
  4. That looks hot! I like those a lot more than the last ones..
  5. If you don't mind going to Tacoma, you should go to Pacific Import Auto. They specialize in Subaru's, and really know there stuff. 253-536-0389

  7. If he's still going to enter rallys in the future, he needs to keep the stock header.
  8. Wait, what part of skagit county do you live in? I live in Bow, work in Burlington.
  9. Well If you want some snazzy posters, email SOA and give them your vin #, and tell them you want some posters/stickers. They sent me 3 full-size wrc posters, and a 2 stickers, one is my avatar<<
  10. I figure that the extra heat on that side combined with the apparent lack of fuel to #3 in a the normal fuel rail system would make that side more prone to problems. But you have already done a parrallel fuel rail modification right?
  11. I heard that you would have to do 4 rallys in a non-turboed, 2 wheel drive car 1st, or take 2 driving courses before you could "upgrade" This is so inexperienced drivers would gain experience, before moving up to something faster. I don't know if this has gone into effect yet, but it's something to check out.
  12. there was a period of time with my RX, that I was fixing/replacing something every 2 days, in a week and a half I had 5 different hoses break..
  13. I agree on the throttle postition sensor. I had to clock mine again today(having similar sputtering out problems). I replaced the coolant temp sensor, but it didn't make any difference, so I readjusted the tps, and the idle speed accordingly. ...And then I remembered how fast my car actually goes.
  14. The event at PIR is sort of a special stage, for the purpose of bringing rally closer to fans. Last years was great. There was a rally cross course set up, then a quarter mile drag, and thirdly around all of PIR, a gravel tarmac course. I drove it, it was fun. XSNRG-you'll be seeing your fair share of skilled drivers this year. Be on the look out for another RX piloted by Ron Sorem. that's him photos from last year --http://community.webshots.com/album/146760163hkcnFx
