    Spoilers

Roof accent it is. I just really like the way they look. I'm not expecting too much in terms of functionality.

    Spoilers

...I'm aware that I can call Subaru, yes. I was just under the impression that there may be a website out there which may stock such a thing.
  3. Another thing I'm looking for is a spoiler for my 95 wagon. I've got the install guide all ready to go, but I can't find out where I can even buy said spoiler. Does anyone have any ideas on this??? OEM only, by the way.
  4. And do you happen to know which years did have an electronic speedometer per chance?
  5. Aside from taking the cluster out of the dash is there any way to tell?
  6. I have a '95 OBW. I really like the newer gauges more, though, the ones with the orange markers and needles. I'm not 100% sure what year they come off of or if they'll even work at all. I know they also have a digital read out instead of analog. If I were to want to swap to the newer gauges, would it be possible?
  7. o_0 Wow! I had no idea that there were actually lights back there! I'll take a stab at this on Sunday. A huge thanks to everyone!!!
  8. I can't help but ask this. I own a '95 legacy and '95 OBW. On the HVAC switches, there are lights underneath the buttons, but nothing behind them to show me what I'm pressing in the dark. Luckily, I've become accustomed to them by this time, but- Is there any small chance I just have lights out, or was this one of the silliest oversights Subaru ever made? I think it's ridiculous that they wouldn't light them up so you can actually see what you're doing. It was super nice of them to light up the defrost button in orange, but with everything else being green, it can be tricky when you're not used to them.
  9. I'll be doing it myself in that case. Does this require pulling the engine at all?
  10. I'm not thrilled about it, but it is what it is. I just want to be positive. It's WAY too cold out to mess with the belts right now, but when it warms up a little bit, I'll try taking the belts off and see if it still happens. I know my A/C pulley squeaks, and I've been meaning to take care of that, so this is just a good reason to do it.
  11. So we've completely ruled out the possibility of it being a timing belt issue?
  12. Oh, and it only squealed once. But I paid very close attention to where the sound was coming from, and it seemed to be the very front of the car. When it made the noise, the car still ran just fine... it was very, very brief. But like I said, I did exactly as you instructed and the car just grabbed wherever the revs were and kept going wonderfully. And to make sure, I did this 5 times. On the 5th time, I took it up to 65 and dropped it, and that's when the noise occurred. But no issue in terms of the revs going up or down; just catching and going. It really, really, REALLY doesn't seem to be an issue. I just want to completely rule out the timing belt tensioner.
  13. Ok, well... I did what FairTax said to do. In my opinion, the car did great. But it didn't drop down to a lower RPM, it just grabbed the gear and launched me forward. That's sort of what I'd normally expect (and hope) to happen, because it seems like it's what SHOULD happen. Honestly, if that's the sign of a bad clutch, I don't know if I want a new one. If it's any warmer out tomorrow, I'll try taking the belts off and see where that leads me. Just to rule out anything else, is there any possibility whatsoever that this could be my timing belt?
  14. I shall do this tomorrow. I have a feeling I know what the result will be, but I'll give it a shot and post the results. On a related note; sans installation, how much should I expect to pay for parts on a bad clutch? I've never had one before.
  15. So you really think it's the clutch even though the car drives 100% perfectly fine? It pulls itself up hills just fine when feathering off the clutch and it feels just fine.
  16. I can put the car in 5th gear and it'll move. But if I put it in first and **really** give it the beans (I guess you could say trying to take off, though I barely ever do it), that's when the problem happens. It doesn't sound metallic, either. But yeah, it moves under its own power under normal circumstances. Example of what I'm talking about when I gun it is when I was stuck behind an old lady on the on ramp. She came to a sudden stop and when she went again, I either had to stomp on the gas to avoid being clobbered by a gas truck. When I did, it moved, but it was a painful and pathetic movement. I drove to the next exit, pulled off to the side of the road, let it rest for about 20 seconds, and it drove normal after that. It's happened three other times, but the noise is still there in the higher RPMs on the freeway (I'd say 4k and above).
  17. '95 185,000 manual. Clutch seems fine. I've tried a few different tests and it came out fine.
  18. My car seems to be getting a new problem. Lately, if I really stomp on the gas, a massive squealing noise comes from the engine and though the RPMs go up, the car barely moves. The engine also makes a squealing noise in higher RPMs on the freeway. It doesn't, however, seem to have the lack of power issue on the freeway, just the noise. The belts seem to be tight. Any ideas?
  19. I switched the lines like I was told, nothing. I also held the switch for a very, very long time. Nothing.
  20. It's completely full. I just want it to work this winter so I can cut the ice with the fluid a bit better.
  21. Yeah, so... the pump is definitely whirring and the hose in the front is connected. When I hit it, I don't see any fluid dripping, either. If the hose is clogged somewhere, how could I clear it out? I've thought about draining all the fluid from the container and pumping sea foam through it or something. Good idea or bad idea?
  22. It hasn't worked since the day I got it. I *think* I remember seeing that the pump for the back was in fact working... I think. If this is the case, what next?
