got into subaru's with my first car a 98 2.5rs. later on bought a 1979 subaru brat that I am in the process of retrofitting ej22t drivetrain and engine.

i mocked up my ej trans last weekend and it hit on the driver's side of the trans tunnel. i'll have to widen it there. but it looks like the gas pedal is directly on the other side where i have to make the adjustments. did you swap over to the legacy pedal set?

Thanks. This project is not for the faint at heart. Lots of cutting and welding. It has taking me about 5 to 6 months to get were I am at now. I am trying the franken motor recipe while I slowly build my turbo motor. I would like to see pics of your project. Good luck and you just might see me there...

Hi, i am almost doing the same project as you, 1979 brat and a 92 legacy turbo donor.

you are farther ahead than me though! i'm still taking the legacy parts out! i'm considering running the wider track, we'll see when i get there. I'm down in Portland, hope your rig will make an appearance at the next WCSS!
