  1. Here is one of the front suspension with a 4 inch lift. .
  2. I took the ea radiator and had ej outlets put on.
  3. That is exactly what I did to my Brat. I have the whole legacy front suspension on the Brat and then the 2.2T dropped right in like she was supposed too. Plus, the Brat is lifted 4 inches too.
  4. Hey thanks for the advice. The ej bracket has an metal insert inside the stock bracket. Cut out the insert and it is the exact one on the ea's. Adjustment works great as well. Thx guys
  5. Ok, maybe it was a sport then. All I did was drop the guts from one tranny to another, keeping everything together as one. I am at my end of adjustment on cable and from what I am seeing and you saying, it is looking like I need to modify the pedal or the cable. Any thoughts??
  6. Hey guys, great info here, I love checking everything out. Keep up the great info. So I have an 86 Brat with the 2.2T and I have a Sti 5 speed tranny. I put the Sti guts into an older, 98 outback case that still uses the cable clutch, as does the Brat. But I it isn't pulling the clutch far enough. I run out of pedal to floor in the Brat. So my question is, Which cable would work??? Anybody have a ej tranny??? What cable works??? Thanks guys

  8. Hey guys. I have a 07 impreza 2.5I that I just replaced the timing belt at 97,000 along with all the pulleys as well as the water pump. While I had the front of the engine off, I also had the seats out of the car and I unplugged the seats of course. I turned the key on to check my headlights and I am wondering if that is the reason why Now the cel is on and the crusie flashing. I am thinking it was when I turned the key on with the cat sensor and another plug along side it, unplugged. So of course now I am looking for a code reader but was also wondering which one? I have a Brat with a 2.2T and an Rx with the 2.2. So what code scanner would work for the OBDI, as well as OBDII? Thanks guys for the help and your time. I appreciate the advice.

  10. Hey fellas, I am about to do the timing belt on my 07 Impreza, 5 speed. Does anybody have any advice as what I need to check and or replace? Right now i am at 96,000 and haven't had a problem with the Subie. So, please, any advice is appreciated. Thanks and keep up the great site.

  12. Hey guys. I am about to rebuild an ej 2.2 for an 88 Rx engine upgrade. The motor has like 248,000 miles and was going to rebuild it. Can I get a list of what I should definitely replace and what to check and look for? I know some of you have done this before so I was asking for some hind sight. Thx

  16. So I have an 88 Rx. Whenever I have the fan on it is blowing cold air in the vents. It isn't completely cold when I have the heat turned up but does anybody have any ideas? It is like 18 degrees out and don't really want the cold blowing on me, I want the HEAT. Thx guys for the help.

  18. The 2.2T is in the Brat. How do you hook up the new alternator with the old wires? Anyone?
  19. I have an 88 Rx, Loyale family. I was wondering is there a manual window controls that would fit my Rx. I have never had the windows work right. Drivers side nothing. But pass. is fine. Any ideas?????
  20. What would cause it to somehow get out of position and stop in the filter????
  21. Hey guys. I was wondering how important is the little ball bearing in the oil pump? I rebuilt the pump a couple of months ago, went to Subaru and got the actual rebuild kit, and rebuilt it. I changed the oil today and went and dumped out the oil filter and out comes the ball bearing. My oil pressure is just under 50 psi running and about just under 20 psi while idling. Do I need to rebuild it again??????
