  1. i believe that was a trim package offered on japanese models. i could be wrong............ curtis
  2. i've never had any problems with my spacers and i do a good bit of "wheeling" with it. as long as they're made properly and installed properly i don't see any drawbacks to wheel spacers. curtis
  3. you're welcome. you aint looking to give ol blue a few more inches are you? curtis
  4. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?p=520078 only thing i can find. curtis
  5. HUH? yeah, a wheel spacer between the hub and the wheel will push the tires away from the spring perch. also, using an offset wheel will do the same thing. i have wheel spacers on my car, and they do in fact create a larger gap. curtis
  6. i have a 4" lifted 97 obw. i made wheel spacers/adapters to get my tires out from underneath the spring seats and am currently running 31" tires with some trimming required. so,it is possible to go larger than the 235/75's, not without spacing the tires however. curtis
  7. yeah, my guess would be the clock spring broke. was there a clicking noise from the steering wheel when you would turn prior to the light coming and staying on? does the cruise control still work? if i remember correctly it won't work either with a broken clock spring. curtis
  8. same ol same ol here in sc as far as i'm concerned......still no soobs , its hot as hell all summer and the gnats carry me off almost daily...... lol curtis
  9. if you don't mind my asking what line of work are you in? curtis
  10. i'm in florence sc. not too far from Beaufort. there aren't many Subaru's around here. they're actually kind of rare. you have to head north to the mountains in nc to see alot of them. i see maybe 5 or 6 here locally in florence. there's a few in darlington. hopefully they'll be a few more in beaufort. it's darn near impossible to get junk yard parts , and none of the part stores carry Subaru parts, they have to order about everything from the "warehouse" or get it from another store.......it's complicated sometimes. curtis
  11. not too worried about adjusting it anymore. just bought one from lmdew. thank you lmdew. i greatly appreciate your quick responses in dealing with me. looking forward to recieving my package. curtis
  12. i have brand new tie rods , inner and outer. let me look in to the price of shipping. i'll pm you soon. thanks! curtis
