  2. Hi

I'm looking for complete dashboard with electric harness and complete set of Quad light style headlight bezels and grill for my 2nd gen brat.

do you have this pars for sale?

    thanks in advance,

    Eyran

  3. Started fixin up all that rust. Hasn't been welded yet because i do not possess a welder. I'm going to weld it all up next week, and add some more sheet to make it look more OEM. Let me know what you think... some 2x1.5" and 3x1" tubing
  4. Recently did some more work cutting out the cancer in the front. it's still jacked up, but I don't want to cut out everything because the structural integrity may be lost. I'm just waiting on some free time to get some square tubing and weld it all back together... and I do have the cross member bolts! they were in a ziplock baggie marked "pushbar/bumper" WE ARE GOLDEN!!! Cut out the decomposing battery box, gonna weld up another.. Day one cutting Day two cutting and RUST MORT Under the radiator, I'm not trying to cut out everything, but I may have to do a bit more work.. Opinions?
  5. thanks for all the replies guys! i'm definitely feeling better about this now. if these are bolt holes for the push bar, bumper etc. then we are all good because i took those out a year ago and probably forgot. if its not then i'm going to shoot myself. I knew it felt a little floaty when i drove it around the block hahahahha I knew I could rely on USMB for the answers!
  6. So, I'm back on the brat. Today I did some work, to get the brat ready for rust removal. Took out the radiator, the head lights, and the little splash guards underneath. I found some weird stuff. If you could help, I would be grateful. Heres the ol' girl in her rusty glory. What the heck is this little dangly thing right next to the oil sensor? Hopefully nothing. you can see it in a couple of the pics Is this what I think it is?! opening for a possible turbo? What is this? little object on the passengers side of the radiator, looks broken. Missing some screws maybe?! Please let me know if I am, because it doesn't look right. Both sides The gap between the sub frame and body?! on both sides..... Please don't let this be true. Then some gnarly rust......... battery box What its supposed to look like I have what looks like a lot of weird problems. some answered questions would be so awesome thanks guys. try not to judge ol shannon too hard
  7. No problem dude...here is one of them in my parts washer....I can send more pics of different angles if you need them...pete

  8. Regarding the stripes, if they are vinyls, you can mix some dish soap with water in a spray bottle. if you spray the water mixture on the car and lay down the vinyl, it will be easy to work with. use a piece of cardboard or plastic to push out the bubbles, and a blow dryer to dry it up. there's howto vids on youtube. i used to work at a window tint shop, its fairly straight forward... just my two cents. killer brat btw
  9. i would be interested in one of your carbs, can you take some pictures of one of them and email me at cbal707@yahoo.com also how much would you be looking for price wise?

  10. Thanks for the input, I have a bit more direction now.
  11. I have an 81 brat with an ea81. the car has trouble starting and idling until its warmed up. I narrowed it down to the carb. it's missing the automatic choke cover and many components. I was going to get a weber eventually, but i would like to have some option of an inexpensive fix, so i can get it smogged. I was checking out rebuild kits, but they don't include the pieces i need. any ideas?
  12. good luck man, i'm in the same boat. money and weather seem to be working against old subarus
  13. can you post pictures of your dual fan assembly and wiring system (w/ temp sensor etc.)? I'm thinking about doing this, and am curious. if you don't want to because of the effort, its not a big deal
  14. Jemmy, let me know if you still have those lights i'm mega interested
