  1. hey any loyale or gl with am ea series engine. dual range or pushbutton trans will work rear suspension from loyale may fit to not 100% on that but think so driveshaft rear and sus allmost a single combined unit holes should already be there to bolt it all in, may have caps covering the holes. easy swap ive done it to ea series car a couple of times, rwd and light is fun ;)

  2. Ok, I found my XT has the EA82 engine. Which is great because I'm positive I can swap in an older 4WD tranny from a Loyale.
  3. Sup guys! I'm slightly new to the forum and this will be my first post. I was really hoping that there would be an XT thread and alas, I find this here! Here's my story. I recenty saved an older XT from the cat food can route. I am currently revamping it so I can get it back on the road. Hopefully this next question isn't too tricky. I plan on rerouting the wheel power to the back to make it RWD instead of FWD. I'm going the whole nine yards in fabbing a custom frame in the rear to hold the diff and suspension as well. As this XT is the FWD 4cylinder model, is it possible to swap in a transmission from the XT6 6cylinder AWD version? Would the bolt patterns be the same? Or could I use a tranmission from a Loyale? I'm open to other suggestions on how I would do this. Thanks!
