  6. ya man, im thinkin .5"-.75" max. spacers are usually measured in mm for a reason lol...not supposed to be so wide. besides, ive seen your car, its fine. if anything invest in some wider offset wheels. I know youre tryying to stay in the 14" range but i know theres stuff out there. That way youre depending on less shear points i.e. bolts to stay tight when beating the crap out of em.
  7. did you say 2" wheel spacers?. if youre wheels downt sheer studs youll at least be trashing bearings on the regular. think of mounting wheels backwards, same idea. the corner lights you got are from 85/86 cars, i prefer those as well btw wagon is looking awesome, glad u found a rad
  8. its hosed. get a landline and throw youre phone away. good thing you live thousands of miles from me, that tree couldve been my daughter
  9. if you get enough self tappers in there you can further reduce the temperatures due to more surface area/turbulence
  10. its been done on a 2" lift and welded rear diff. expect damage
  11. if you skipped a tooth due to slack, youll need to redo the tbelts. make sure the tensioner bolt holes arent getting stripped, subaru used shorter bolts than they should have in there
  12. theres been lots of people thrpugh here thatve asked this very question. the answer lies in your abilities and your budget. not knowing where to start should be a big clue as to how unprepared for this task you are. dont get disccouraged, just research, a ton.
  13. nothin says safari like ivory satin
  14. its been debated many times, but reality is the heads on EA series engines dont flow enough to see huge gains without a disproportionate expenditure of monetary assets. Why do you think EJ engines were developed? I will disclose that I run EA engines in all my cars currently, and have accepted their capabilities.
  15. you likely have shot bearings on the timing components and/or water pump. sometimes they dont get replaced with the belts
  16. I too am using this as motivation to put my wagon back together. I wrote the list on the hood yesterday Roadkill style. Thank you so very much for sharing.
  17. yesterday i patted my loyale(my avatar pic). its been who knows how long since i took it apart. I believe I now have all the parts needed to get it to wcss in reasonable condition. we're going spfi ea81 and 3 ish inch lift...i have crap laying around. ill come ready to break most thing on it and have parts to back it up as i dont have any other gen3 cars needing parts any time soon
  18. man, half that car is parts that have at one time lived in my backyard lol. I like it.
